Questions that have never been answered

Why'd they name him "Joyrock?"

Also somewhat interesting to see younger Lina actually cry at witnessing Joyrock murdering those people for funsies. Lina doesn't usually show much in the way of emotional pain at all the horrors she encounters. Is it because she's like fucking 13 in this movie? Did she become numb to that sort of thing by the time she was 15 at the start of the tv series?

since people like to take pop-culture continuity logic so seriously now-a-days, here's a ＢｉｇＢｒａｉｎ™ take :

the Slayers anime universe is a part of Looney Tunes canon. A throw away joke from the first movie states that the film's villain was in fact just Michigan J Frog, hopped up on magic-juice.

(i’m sure if you asked the people who originally found him, they’d call that damn frog a demon too. he lived for centuries locked away in a tomb of stone until unearthed by some greedy space-slob)

11 years ago from today, I stood by a blue locker at Christian High School and asked Annalisa to be my girlfriend. Since then, my life has never been the same. Honestly, I really did not know how much this girl was going to rock my world, fill me with incredible joy, and push me to pursue Christ in all I do. It wasn’t a sudden happening, but rather it was gradual-- and the love and adoration for this woman keeps growing every day! At the time I asked Annalisa to be my girlfriend I didn’t know she would be my future wife. I never gave too much thought to that. That seemed so far off in the distance I could hardly imagine it. In those beginning days I never wondered if she would be a good wife or if she had all the perfect qualities I was looking for in a future mate. I just knew she was my best friend. Our friendship bond blossomed into a romantic companionship and with each year that went by I knew we were becoming more and more inseparable.  The most important thing that holds us together is our faith in Christ. We know that God is the foundation of our relationship. I still don’t know how I got so lucky? Anyone that knows Annalisa knows that she is inimitable! I have never met someone like her before. When I think of the word “joy” I think of Annalisa’s face which radiates the joy of the Lord. I could go on and on (but due to the character limit), I will just say, Happy 132 Months of love ANNALISA #JoyRock #HighSchoolSweetHearts (at Christian Unified Schools of San Diego)
