I think I have been truly blessed with the best sister in law in the world! In fact, since I have grown up with her since I was a kid, I don't even think of her as an in law. Had an awesome time here in Vegas at the #Superbones #Superwounds convention. Met and learned from some amazing doctors from around the country. Other highlights include hands on surgical workshops, practice casting, learning techniques for wound care such as dressing venous ulcers, the use of lasers in medicine, further insight into procedures such as triple arthrodesis and the physiology behind healing with a hyperbaric medicine, and of course just bonding time with my awesome classmates! Thankful for this opportunity. 😄 (at M Resort Spa Casino)

Over the weekend while in Sayulita Mexico we were able to witness the hatching and release of hundreds of baby seaturtles. There is a volunteer program that helps these beautiful creatures by relocating the nests to safety of a hatchery to protect them from people who poach on them for profit. After cooking in nature's sand incubator for 45 days or so, they are brought back and buried about 50 feet from the waves. Around 6pm we got to watch as the baby turtles emerged and began making their journey, wiggling and crawling across the sand into the waves for the first time. Peak season is October and November so we happened to be there at the perfect time. Just in case you are ever in the area of Sayulita make sure you check it out on the beaches just north of the river (make sure you thank the volunteers and donate to the sweet kids who help out). Had a blast celebrating the marriage of my cousin @madelynicole and her new husband Lawrence! I have known Maddy since we were babies and our families have always been close. Two words that remind me of Madelyn are laughter and music... And who doesn't like those two things?!?! Her laugh is contagious and I love how we are able to sing and dance through life. I had so much fun sweating my butt off on the dance floor with you. Cheers to you and your marriage. #adiosAdams

Had an awesome day celebrating Josh and Riley! (at Lake Oak Meadows)
One of my best friends, Josh Schimpf, is getting married today! So blessed by his friendship for the past 13 years, since freshman year of high school. Thankful to have taken honors/AP classes and played sports together in high school. One of my favorite memories with Josh was while in college we made it onto a dance off competition on ABC’s #DancingFools and took home the grand prize (somehow all while Josh had a torn ACL). Josh has always been there for me and constantly makes those around him better people. Love Proberbs 27:17 to describe what Josh Schimpf is to his friends, “As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another.” So excited for Josh to enter this next stage of life! #AkinToBeAschimpf
