J.P. Sater, Silent Hill: Downpour
Silent Hill Downpour and Caffeine
Murphy:
Almost exclusively drinks coffee, with the occasional energy drink.
Gets really jittery.
His crash is utterly debilitating.
Cunningham
Somehow gets a caffeine buzz off of tea, but has also taken caffeine pills to stay awake.
Gets hyperfocused and bounces her leg around.
Her caffeine crashes manifest as headaches.
Sewell
Black coffee all the time.
Gets energetic but agitated. His mood gets worse, but he’s doing things faster.
Barely even feels his crashes.
Sater
Drinks coffee to cure his hangovers.
Caffeine was one way that he was able to work with the kids.
His crashes usually end with a twenty-minute nap.
Ricks
Energy drinks and coffee.
In his DJ gig, caffeine was almost mandatory to stay up all night. Radio never sleeps.
If he crashes, he puts on a really long song and tries to nap through it.
Coleridge
Tries to avoid caffeine.
When he needs it, he goes for some of his daughter’s tea.
Consequently, when he crashes, he crashes. He’s just not used to them.
"First time visitor, huh?"
"Be seeing you around, Murphy."
WHOA EMO SILENT HILL POEM YO!
So I always wondered during Silent Hill Downpour, that since Murphy is stuck in loop, isn't everyone?
Like Bobby Ricks, and JP Sater?
So I wrote an emo poem in Sater's perspective, and TW: Alcohol abuse, Pill abuse, Suicide
Because Sater is NOT a happy camper.
Minimal Spoilers of course.
What happened, that was an accident. I didn’t mean to hurt nobody. I didn’t murder nobody. Murder’s a mortal sin. You go to hell for murder. Ain’t that right, Murphy? Surely your mama taught you ‘bout what’s right and wrong?
