Another version of the phone wallpaper, this time a battle scene with Freddy Krueger.
The classic JPRG trope where you have a choice between “yes” and “no” but selecting “no” just sends you back to the choice box until you select “yes”.

The light ignited her ax like the brightest beacon in the darkness as she raised it above her head.
The nightspawn only turned their twisted faces to take one last look at the figure now standing on the monument. A Champion who was supposed not only to destroy her enemies, but also to give hope to those whose hearts were to be consumed by darkness and illuminate them with the words of encouragement that she speaks in the name of the Goddess.
That's one of characters of my designe made for ttrpg game in the vibe of jrpg. The Daughter of Darkness, Mefal.
It’s been quite sometimes that I played White Knight Chronicles. Hearing the knights shout something intriguing before the morph:
Verto!
This takes me back. Guess what got me into all of this?
Legend of Dragoon.
When I first discovered WKC as a PS3 western release front cover, there’s a Sony logo on the bottom right corner, which definitely reminds me of LoD, who was involved in it. They both published the game. It happened to be pretty tight as heck. Considering a LoD spin off and little similarities like the henshin. I absolute recommend playing them if you haven’t yet. Heck, get a used PS3 just to get WKC and along other exclusive titles along with, for this platform.
My work I did for Tim Guo’s Concept Design for Video Games class at Warrior Art Camp! Really proud of the work I did and I definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to get into concept art.
For this class, students were tasked to design a character skin for the mocked-up videogame character, as well as a matching gunblade weapon design. (The character mockup wielded a gunblade, so we were restricted to designing a gunblade.) Each student was assigned an event and had to design a character skin for that event; I was assigned the pre-order exclusive one! According to my instructor, the pre-order skin typically looks expensive and has gold in the color scheme. I wanted to do high fantasy, so I chose the theme of queen, angel and paladin.
Another thing we had to do was to pick a studio’s art style to reference that we wanted to try and replicate too. For me, I chose the signature SquareEnix JRPG art style.
There were a lot of firsts working on this, especially the weapon design. I am really proud of the work I made for this class and I hope you folks enjoy it too! :)
