every scene where the female characters have agency in the books is then destroy in the next 10 chapters where they are apologizing to the men or just agreeing to be their side piece. like the aes sedai end up enslaved and like they actually just have scenes where like the women are like, i like my new master and all the sex we’re having and the one’s who fight go mad or are in the stocks. the aes sedai are gross to begin with but like i tapped out at book 11 and it was already pretty gross with the main couples. like perrin and zarrine had the most normal relationship and even then it was highkey toxic with gaslighting and her picking fights and wants him to be violent to her because culturally that’s what her people did :/ and rand, don’t get me started. he basically gaslights 3 girls and like they all agree to share him except he’s like terrible to all of them. oh and just gestures to mat’s whole arc, who by comparison is normal except i think he ended up with a child? it makes game of thrones look normal
