I broke past the 10,000 word mark on Trinity Veil over the weekend.

I psyched myself out initially because I thought my pacing was too fast. But I’m on chapter 4 now and I think the pacing is good. The book has a lot of action in it and once Weird Shit starts happening (which is like... line 1) it never stops. The characters barely get to stop for a breath, and that’s how the story is supposed to be.

I think I’m doing a good job. I’m excited.

I’m also excited because I have a portrait of Aria in the works and a painting of [spoiler]. Ha! The hard part about drawing scenes from the book is that I won’t be able to tell you all anything about them because they’re spoilers...

Is it just me or it was better when jason was silent? I mean... yeah he gave us pics and all that, but they can do that on the writers account. I don't like why he left and I'm not saying he deserves hate beause no one does but, every time he opens her mouth (posts a tweet) I want to rip my eyes out. He's annoying and doesn't know how to interact with fans. His tweets don't make me feel excited but pissed off, because of his ego lol.

I’m kind of conflicted about this. 

I am glad that he is back and doesn’t care about the antis anymore - although my personal opinion is, that he shouldn’t have left in the first place. He should have kept his mouth shut about certain stuff and block everyone who sent hate and threats to him and his cast, yes. BUT he shouldn’t have left them do what they did (and some of them are still doing).

I am glad that he is back and he is sharing things, but I have to agree I don’t like the way he is doing it on many occasions. He has a unique way of getting on my nerves. One recent example being is that he clearly preferences some fans (and I don’t mean the antis) over the regular fans, including fans who have invested a lot of effort to keep this show going on social media over the hiatus. 

I am glad that he is giving shoutouts to his crew and cast, they deserve it.

I am glad that he is supporting our fan artists out there.

I am glad that he is finally doing promo for the show.

I am glad for all that, and I hope he will continue to do that, I just wish he’d cut back on his ego.

i’m curious, do y’all like to write your stories in order, chapter by chapter, or by jumping around? i prefer to jump

one of the problems with jumping around while you write is you sometimes write something that directly contradicts something else and you have to decide which one deserves to live

i use Deposition for tag games and things, since it has the most material, but i may be slow(er) to take part as i work on draft 1.5!
