Anime Club

Just found out today that my oldest son’s school anime club won’t let them watch AoT cuz of nudity...

JRHS GSA - "Just Unique"

Today Ribault's GSA had our second-to-last meeting of the school year. We had officer elections so the group would have two leaders to carry them into the new school year (only two because a full executive would make up half+ of the membership). The two young women the students elected are fantastic. They have great ideas, one of them has a great mind for leadership and organization, and the other has a great understanding of non-mainstream LGBT issues compared to the rest of the group (and wants to make sure those issues are addressed, too). Even though I may not be serving at JRHS next year, I look forward to checking in with them to see how things are going. I know they will make great leaders, and will do great things for the organization. I feel proud, comfortable, and confident to be turning the reins over to two students who are so capable (after all, this has always been meant to be a student-led organization). I'm just so happy! 😭
