So, here we go again. hopefully THIS will satisfy my brain when it comes to tweaking designs. also yeah technically they have multiple tails, xe just braid em together to make it easier on them.

As a treespawn xe can change their body types between Shortrib, Longrib, and Legless pretty much at will. They prefer to stick in shortrib form because of xer attachment to Saro. 

Treespawn as a whole can also sizeshift, depending on how much beat-energy that they decide to use to tweak their size. Alnus and their pseudo-siblings in the rest of the player shapes prefer to be smaller and faster as a general whole. 

When channeling beat-energy xer eyespots/darker markings will flash or turn white, meanwhile their lighter markings will flash or turn black. This happens during their dashes, TIO form, and when otherwise using beat-energy structures or projectiles. 

Internally, treespawn are much more plant/tree-like. Instead of bones they have what essentially amounts to wood and that’s both supported and somewhat surrounded by condensed roots. Instead of hair they have foliage, either in the form of leaves or needles. Their digestive systems are more similar to carnivorous plants, multiple chambers for digesting and then storing fluids and goo. Reproductively they take after flower reproductive systems. 

Their shape-like appearance is grown over time, and is essentially a layer of ‘clothing’ over their full plant-ness, with seams where if needed, they can shed the ‘skin’ either for repairs, or for some other reason. Because of this many treespawn just don’t really see any issues with going around ‘nude’ and really only wear clothing to keep themselves warm. 

Alnus was the first out of the Four Treespawn to have awakened from gestation, therefore making them the eldest of the group. Struggled to figure out how to move at first, so the tree decided to add in some assistance via collecting beat-energy from a long-dead shape into a ‘husk’ to slowly build up their skill in movement. When the others awakened one by one xe helped them figure out their limbs and movement as well. 

Resting bitch face and they often come off as aggressive, rude, or in general standoffish towards most individuals, though they do have a softer side that xe shows to xer ‘siblings’ and others that they care about. Everyone else can eat shit and die in their opinion though. 

Xe will not hesitate to make their opinions on people known, for better or for worse. Little brain to mouth filter, and despite it, they don’t lie, they see no reason for it so xe don’t. Xe aren’t brutally honest to a fault, they will try to soften their words, but xe aren’t very good at it.

Regularly eats literal garbage and fistfights the local racoons for it. Also likes to eat things that no normal shape should and/or would be eating in front of people to see their reactions like the little menace xe are. 

Likes to spend time with others, even if they aren’t communicating, just being in the same place can make them content.

I dunno what else to put on here, so I’ll just get to the Askblog stuff

ASKBLOG INFO

In the askblog, you could ask my versions of the characters anything! And here they are!

Cyan - Cyan’s the impromptu leader of the Main 4. He acts like a confident and well-meaninged hero, despite being hotheaded and a bit too overconfident.

Gold - Gold is the Main 4’s “slacker.” They’re quite lazy, but they do get the job done eventually. They’re also the most laid back of the four. Strangely, they’re the most capable of neutralizing corrupted energy of the Main 4, and is often asked to.

Lime - Lime is the Main 4’s most straight-headed person. He’s pretty protective, and often plays defensively. He’s often assigned as the caretaker of the group when Cube’s not around.

Orange - Orange is the smartest among the Main 4. She’s the most outgoing and friendly out of the four, always trying to friends. She thinks up most of the strategies the group uses.

Boss/Blixer (Pre-Story) - The boss is the man behind the corruption himself. He barely takes any crass from anyone, acts serious almost always, and has a quick temper. He dislike the others, mostly because they’re his enemies, but also because their personalities often piss him off.

Boss/Blixer (King/New Game Version) - In an ironic twist, the boss who once hated the wacky personalities of the other characters, now became insane himself as a side effect for consuming so much power. He’s pretty much an insane villain who wants death, destruction, corruption, and to flex his guitar.

Cube - Cube’s the oldest out of all the characters (except for Blixer), but is also the most shy. They’re very bad socially, and often couldn’t converse in conversation without another person with them.

I also got a bunch of JSAB ocs/fcs you could ask, and here they are!

TTF/Time to Fight - TTF is one of Blixer’s most loyal servants. He’s a mercenary hell-bent on capturing/killing the Main 4 shapes. He’s often pretty reckless and overconfident, sorta like Cyan. He has a mouth of a sailor, often swearing every sentence.

Happycore - Happycore is one of the cheeriest and friendliest characters in Paradise. They’re so cheery that they don’t even know if they’re corrupted or not, and act literally the same.

Now here’s some rules!

Rule 1 - Don’t be weird/inappropriate please

Rule 2 - Requests and dares are allowed

Rule 3 - Don’t ask the same questions

Rule 4 - OCs are allowed, but only sometimes

Rule 5 - Please specify which character you’re asking (and in Boss man’s case, specify which version)

their only interaction in mi current ones now is that boat is a customer in her cafe

Yes they still play violin, also i draw pants on shapes now so-

hard to see due to the background but here's some stuff:

-The adult Square drawings originally was a diff au, an angsty one to be specific, but instead i reused the idea and made into a slice-of-life/comedy vibes

-Clash twins don't fight that often anymore, they also don't hate each other anymore and see each other more as rivals

-Vindicate Me(the green square in the bottom right) and Cascade(orange-ish square in the same area) are either pen pals in this drawings or cousins idk, i don't remember

-Dullahan has been revoked of antagonist rights so any interaction with Blixer does not exist anymore, they belong in mi sona's personal circle now

-The Guardians are located on the top right

-i have rid of Milky Ways triangle wings, i changed their design recently so

-Logic definitely still uses rectangles to move around, kinda like a magic carpet

-Chronos is long and have to many details that i didnt add here

-Blixer and Square's interaction here definitely happened in the Grayed Out AU

-Spectra should listen to their brother(Unlocked) more

Tell me about your Macabre! Whats their deal? Are they evil?

They ain't evil, but he is trying to do their job well (which they are--)

Cuz u Kno, thier a Soul Collector, it's her first year of being a collector-

So many lore and facts to info dump on---

Kcndnsjsnfn- Macabre used to be alive, but then he died by accident (this was after the corruption event started by Blixer)

His body was never found

Met the ghost of Sir Strike an became buddies

Got appointed to be The Collector after a year-

And now they do their 5 century job

Haha and also they were classmates/buddies with Cube and Lycan back then in highschool--

One of the benefits of being The Soul Collector is that u can disguise ur self as a living person, being solid and all that stuff (other stuff include stronger magic, speed, short distance teleportation, etc.)

So uh- Macabre hides the fact that she's dead

Stuff about being dead and being a Collector-:

Before Macabre the amount of shapes that die has a 63% chance of being a ghost- (it's now 46% if u wanna kno)

Now if u die, (let's say under normal circumstances), ur soul leaves the body and during that month u died on, you have to survive it from running away from the collector, who will chase u

Hero shapes can actually see certain ghosts(like Macabre)

There's also a fifty fifty percent chance of forgetting ur memories when ur alive when u die

Being a Soul Collector is more like job than a responsibility in all honesty-

Cuz u even get interviewed- by the tree guardians and the previous soul collector

Requirements for being the soul collector:

U must be dead for a year

If u remember ur time when ur alive, u must be okay of collecting the souls of ur love ones

That's pretty much it-

Since- like- the Collector picks who gets to be the next Collector-

Where do the souls go tho? U ask

They go to Logic Gatekeeper for safe keeping until the souls be used again (yes reincarnation is a thing but it's not really a big part of the story, the tree guardians just got tired of making souls so they just reuse it)

There are certain rules when or why u have to collect the soul even if thier alive, or that why you should not if they die also

Eight Days Of Wonder

praying is a somewhat big thing in paradise, because evidence of divine intervention is obvious and people want it

once a year, during the supposed planting of the sacred treeangle, shapes break off a teensy tiny shard of themselves, write a wish on it, and dispose of it near the treeangle, whether jt be by burying, grindign into powder, shoving it into the bark, or throwing it into the tree

this is a tradition that reminds everyone that no matter how different someone may be, you all are shapes created from the treeangle and are all part of a community.

the remaining 7 days have a day of remembrance, day of feasting, day of celebration, day of cleansing, day of sacrifice, day of rejuvenation, day of confession, and finally, day of lights

ps shape shards enter a state of rigor mortis very quickly after it's removed so it's not that bad

day of remembrance is a way to preserve the memory of shattered shapes. it usually has those who were close or "family" of the shape do things such as burn incense and leave offerings of food, bp and trinkets before a photo of the gone shape

day of feasting is to remind that there is joy to be found in simple things. it usually consists of a whole region getting together and having a feast. styles range from picnic to bbq to buffet to dining hall and fancy full-course french dinner, but the idea is still the same

day of celebration has similar intent. it's meant to elicit a sense of wonder and glee in people, and have them relax for a day. methods involve parades, organized gatherings, rituals, music, shows, and much more

day of cleansing is one of the last days of a year in this world, and this day consists of symbolic and practical practices

this day is about going to the next year with minimal regrets, and people "cleanse" themselves and their community of those regrets or just overall rancid vibes

methods include writnf said regrets onto paper and destroying it, cleaning a room and spinning counterclockwise from east to west, and repainting

day of sacrifice is Not About Sacrificing Shapes.

it's a day where you sacrifice something, whether it be tangible or not, for your goals

and it does Not Involve Murder

day of rejuvenation can be seen as the day of cleansing's opposite

instead of purging excess negativity, this day is about letting optimism into your life. the volcano and river region celebrate this day especially, allowing their denizens to bathe in the lava/water and reflect on how they could begin to see life in a positive yet realistic way

day of confession (might not be final) is about confessing to things you've done, whether they be good or bad. in the olden days it was celebrated by setting up a giant bulletin board and having people sneak out at night to post on it, but modern technology had made it a lot moe convenient.

this day doubles as a way to give heroes the honor they deserve, and to help change the ways of those who are less virtuous

the final day is the day of lights. this is also the new years of paradise

the day of lights is the treeangle's "farewell" gift to its creations that although it may not be capable of being with them physically, it will set aside a day for them to celebrate what makes them unique and amazing. this day involves a whole day of setup that amounts to a huge night of revelry. a lot of pretty natural phenomena (aurora borealis, bioluminescent waves, etc) happen during that day as well. and this is one of the few days the strict law dictating appropriate usage of shape magic is relaxed.

Ooh, headcanons! I'm curious...

ok so when a shape is born they’re really simple like the player shapes but in their teen years, they become more complex and distinct (this doesn’t apply to flowers those lads are all similar in form), though usually looking a little bit like their parent (the apple doesn’t fall far from the treeangle). once they’re fully formed they start growing in size. this stops after they’re a reasonable size, eg cuda is old as rocks. Shapes also reproduce from damage, if a chunk is broken off of an adult shape it becomes a baby shape. getting the crap beat out of you is like sudden baby. Boat used to be literally just a smol semicircle. Kitty was as disappointed in her final appearance as I am in my grades. Pentagon gets wings because why not. live.
