"I thought you wouldn't answer." Daniela's voice wasn't as soft, but it wasn't cold, it sounded unsure, like doubt and fear were growing in it. Y/n sighed, hand gripping the crystal that stood on the table, the noise of her two friends was drowned out by what felt like woe, but was only the reality.
"I'm sorry." Was all that she managed to utter, clearing her throat at the long exhale on the other end. She could tell it wasn't annoyance, but that Daniela knew that Y/n would apologize, and that it still wouldn't remove the burdens of these past days. "Yeah-" It went silent again, but she knew that the girl on the other end couldn't hold everything in, that had always been Y/n's part. "I just- I've been missing you." She confessed like it was a crime, her voice frail.
