[ I've spoken about my headcanons for their preferences a few times, but here's a neat little list! ]

[ Shamrock ☘️ ]
Shamrock is very apprehensive about having children and doesn’t believe that he can be a good father, but he knows that his father would be disappointed if he didn’t sire at least one male heir.
When he finds the right partner, someone he loves deeply, not any of the ladies Garling presents him with, he slowly starts enjoying the idea of a family more and more. Maybe caring for his kids will help him heal his own inner child. At least he hopes so.
To satisfy his father he requires you to bear a son for him, but if your first born is a girl, you'll be surprised to see that Shamrock is just as happy and proud. It doesn’t matter to him if you gift him a healthy boy or a pair of twin daughters, he will love and protect them all equally.
As for features, Shamrock would find it adorable if his girls looked just like you.
[ Figarland Garling 🌙 ]
Garling dreams of having a big family. The twins were only the beginning, what he truly desires is an army of young knights he can shape and mould in his image. Brave soldiers who will help him to remain in power and ensure the bloodline continues. Ten or even twelve. As many as you can carry.
You'll be the lucky vessel to fulfill his wish. In return, Garling will care for you through all your pregnancies, he worships your body as it changes and grows more fond of you with every child you bear in his name.
Naturally, he prefers boys, but after his first daughter is born, he becomes the most overprotective ( toxic ) girl dad.
Garling hopes his sons will be born a bit heavier and bigger than most normal babies, so of course he will feed you extra portions and have multiple doctors checking your health every few days.
[ Shepherd Sommers 🥀 ]
Since the rest of the Shepherd family breeds like rabbits, Sommers isn’t too stressed about having his own heirs any time soon. He enjoys his peace and quiet after missions, often spent at your side in his dungeon or the gardens. A couple of unruly brats would give him a headache … but he can’t deny that he'd love to see you full of his child.
The pain you'd go through during your pregnancy fascinates him, he watches you shift around in bed, desperate to find a comfortable position. He lets you suffer from time to time, soaking in your despair as he kisses your bittersweet tears away. When he grows bored of your torment, he brings you some medicine and lets you sit in his lap.
Sommers would be satisfied with a girl or boy, either way he's going to teach them about his unique philosophies and raise them to be clever and cunning. He will be much softer with a daughter though.
He would love it if one of his children inherits his ginger hair.
[ Killingham 🐉💭 ]
Killingham only wants one child with you so he can spoil his little prince or princess absolutely rotten. From tons of sweets to any toy they could possibly ask for and the most wonderful of dreams every night. He doesn’t mind if the baby sleeps in the bed with you two, that way he can keep watch over their dreams and protect them from any nightmares.
There's no gender bias since he knows that wether it'll be a girl or boy, they'll make an excellent future Knight of God! With his help and guidance of course.
He won't be able to stop gushing about your baby's eyes if they shimmer in the same pretty colors as yours.
[ Shepherd Ju Peter 🐏 ]
In his many years of living on this earth he's had a few children with different wives, but the love he feels for you is unlike anything he's ever experienced before. He's overcome with the need to sire more heirs soon after your marriage. The doctors don’t give him much hope that it'll happen … until one day you prove them all wrong.
Ju Peter would not mind a pair of twins or triplets, he's used to being around a lot of children at once — the family gatherings of the Shepherds are always huge. He'll be a calm and collected father, sometimes stern and on rare occasions pretty lax.
The Elder finds daughters to be much more pleasant than boys.
[ Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro 🐎 ]
Nusjuro views having children as simply a natural part of life, something that he should not prevent after taking you as his wife. Unless you vehemently fight against being bred, he will have as many as the spirits bless you with. As the partner of an Elder, you will want for nothing during your pregnancies and always be spoiled.
However, he understands that your human body needs to recover. If necessary, Nusjuro will exercise some discipline and keep his hands off you so your children may grow before he chooses to have another one with you.
The gender hardly matters when it comes to how he plans to raise his little ones. He will teach them how to wield a sword as soon as they can stand on their own feet.
He hopes none of his babies inherit his poor eyesight.
