Is it fair to assume Mark Beaks is ethnically Jewish because of his VA and Mark Zuckerberg?
I've been blasting this song on repeat because it makes me feel better about the world so I thought I'd share it here.
Hey guys we want to show the support lgbtq people have in the Jewish community so if your lgbtq and Jewish submit your pictures or tag us in them with #lgbtqjews and we'll post them to the blog!
However, the controversy around pork, once euphemized as “white steak,” has, to a greater extent, been linked to Israel’s painful and complex process of identity building. Unlike other non-kosher foods, such as shrimp and shellfish, it has symbolized a history of humiliation and persecution in the collective Jewish consciousness. During the Spanish Inquisition, Jews were forced to choose between death and eating pork to pledge their allegiance to the church. Even in secular Jewish literature, pork is associated with guilt and a betrayal of the Jewish tradition and identity.

On the tensions that pervade eating pork in Israel.
I'd like to conclude with a call that the Jews, Muslims, and Christians of the world who believe in a God of Peace unite together to openly denounce all forms of violent extremism that has poisoned the true vision of our religions. That Jews be like Moses who said" Why are you hitting your friend?" (Exodus 2:13). To be like Mohammed who said "Shall I not inform you of a better act than fasting, alms, and prayers? Making peace between one another." (Sayings of the Prophet Muhammed). To be like Jesus who said "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Matthew 5:9). -Rabbi Levi Welton
Remember that not that many years ago, it was the Muslims who welcomed and saved the Jews from the marauding Crusaders. Yet now we see it is the Christian nations of the world that welcome and support the Jewish state against its Islamic enemies. Obviously, the dogma of the religions didn’t change as much as the vision of the religious leaders. -Rabbi Levi Welton
