On Sunday I watched a few games of Spanish football, but the most important moment of the weekend, in my opinion, did not happen on the pitch. It was a relief to see Fernando Torres seating in the box at the Vicente Calderon, already recovered after the big scare a few days earlier, and the affection to him showed by the crowd. I’m very happy that it wasn’t anything serious; he will be back scoring goals very soon, as always.

Fernando, with his Sun in Aries and his Moon in Scorpio, is passionate and ambitious. He knows what he wants and don’t hesitate to go after it, directly or indirectly ... except maybe if it concern his love life where his Venus in Pisces soften him and the way he relates with the ones he loves.
Aries/Scorpio is a nice combination because it gives him every essential qualities to be a warrior. He is brave, unstoppable and a charismatic leader who inspires through his determination and loyalty.
He put a lot of his energy into his career because this is where he can be fully himself and shines the most.
There is also a shyness at first. He is defensive and suspicious of people’s intentions. His Cancer Rising is making him cautious and kinda makes us want to protect him, like a child.
Juan, has a solid Sun in Taurus who grounds him, he loves routines and he might be difficult for him to get rid of bad habits.
I’m not sure of his Moon placement : with a Virgo Moon, it gives him ever more stability but also a need for perfection, he can be overly critical and too dependent on rationality, always searching for security in concrete and material things ; if he has a Moon in Libra it give him more of a hedonistic approach to life and a lightness to his emotional self. He might always be in search for a partner and for social approval.

Aries + Taurus is a tricky combo but there is a lot potential for individual growth, Fernando might think Juan is too slow, but through his friendship with him he can also learn to take his time and enjoy simple pleasure of life. Juan can get even more stubborn if he feels Fernando is pushing him too much to do stuff, but he can actually learn to be more spontaneous and less lazy.
For their Moon/emotional compatibility we have either :
Scorpio + Virgo which is one of my favorite sign combo in compatibility. They both feed the other one needs of security, Juan being loyal and stable and Fernando being able to trust Juan’s emotions and let his Scorpio tendencies express knowing Juan is here to help if needed. With a Moon in Virgo, Juan would be Fernando’s emotional support and keeping the relationship in order. Fernando can be the one testing the relationship and demanding constant prove of commitment.

Scorpio + Libra which is more difficult. Fernando might be a little too intense emotionally and Juan might feel like walking on thin eggs (is that the expression, idk) around him, being afraid to say or do something and breaking the harmony between them. But a harmonious relationship can still be achieve and maintain, the only condition is sacrificing Juan’s emotional well being (which he might agree to do ... for a while).
They have a (double) opposition Sun/Moon, it means they complete each other but there is a tension between their basic personality that forces them to base their relationship on compromise and understanding of the other point of view. From time to time, it can be exhausting to be around each other, feeling that your emotions are at the opposite of the person you are talking to, and will never be fully accepted.
As for the Synastry, Juan’s Sun fall into the 11th house of Fernando. It’s kinda the “friend at first sight” placement. They give a lot of freedom to each other and usually accept the other as he is without being too judgmental.
Even as couple, they are friend before anything else and this can lead to a no string attached type of relationship. This is at least how Juan sees it, and it goes very well with his Mars in Aquarius but can be more difficult for Fernando who need commitment with all the Scorpio in his Chart.
It’s not a deep or fated placement but it creates a positive atmosphere between them where both can grow and be free to be who they are.
If you want fated placement, just look at Juan’s Moon Falling into Fernando’s 4th house. Such an intense placement is not easy to deal with, especially for Juan who might need to take a break from Fernando from time to time to breathe.

Their Venus square each other. And so do their Mars. When they move from friendship to love, it becomes even more complicated. On one side we have Fernando, 100% Water (Venus in Pisces, Mars in Scorpio), and on the other side we have Juan, 100% Air (Venus in Gemini, Mars in Aquarius).
Fernando wants commitment, passion and deep emotions. He wants to become one with his partner.
Juan wants freedom, freedom and more freedom. Even though he loves to be around people and be in relationship with someone, he prefers to think a relationship than to feel it. As soon as he’s gonna feel slightly trapped, he is gonna fly away. And even more if his Moon is in Libra.

I personally feel like there is a lot of unconscious work going on in their relationship. They have this kind of friendship where spending time away from each other just make the relationship stronger, and they appreciate even more the time they do spend together.
