Jubilex as a Sultai ooze lord in Forgotten Realms. I am speaking it into existence
cant recall if i posted the first two before, but i needed a little baby .5 cr cultist in jubiliex garb. a staff of goo!
Spawn of Jubilex
As you might have imagined from the name, the spawn of Jubilex is an ooze, but it’s not a normal ooze by any means. That’s a good thing – the creature type’s default assumptions are so ingrained that putting a new twist on things really helps spice it up. It starts with their origins as the direction creations of the demon lord of oozes and slimes, converted from dwarves slain by Jubilex’s power and reanimated as oozes. The spawn of Jubilex doesn’t just hang its hat on its ties to the connection to the Faceless Lord, though. Oozes may be but oozes with a vague remembrance to the original, an intellect of their own and the ability to wield weapons and otherwise act like humanoids. But one look at the unnatural slime dripping down their weapons or a look at the jelly-like face, utterly untroubled by any memory or sense of connection to the person they once were. Even when slain, they erupt, damaging time their foes one last.
Desperate and starving, hemmed in by encroaching human settlements and ogre tribes, a small clan of orcs has turned from their traditional gods to the worship of Jubilex after their old chief was killed by a smile, seeing it as a sign from the spirits. Now turned into a spawn of Jubilex with an orcish outward form, broad and powerfully-built, the ooze fights fiercely but has also proven a strangely charismatic figure, inculcating Jubilex’s strange ways and customs after devouring the old witch doctor feet first to assert its dominance. Eager to escape a situation that seems to be getting worse by the week, a small warband of orcs is willing to help anyone who gives them safe passage, even to the point of joining them in battle against former clan mates they barely recognize anymore.
After uncovering a strange, cursed stone, many of the miners who labor in the depths of the Corrigstock Mines have become unnatural beings, twisted and warped into ooze-like figures. Now they have sealed themselves inside the mines, preying on anyone who tries to run the gauntlet of traps they’ve created and gradually warping or devouring the remaining miners. Finding the stone and destroying it by casting it into molten metal will prevent the affliction from spreading further, though those who have already succumbed are likely beyond help.
Seeing the ritual as an affront to the Whispers Within – at least so long as it was in another’s hands – an alchemist’s guild secretly in thrall Haagenti managed to steal a fell ritual to create the monstrous semi-humanoid oozes known as the spawn of Jubilex. Mutating and transfiguring their victims even as they instill a drug-like dependence on their strange elixirs, the alchemists use their spawn as shock troops and guardians, stealing power from Jubilex to fuel the transformative rite.

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Project: #20 Jubilex
Piece 20: Demon Lord Jubilex
Jubilex, the Faceless Lord, a lesser demon lord, is an amorphous monster of slime and ooze. He rules the layer of Shedaklah with the Lady of Fungi Zuggtmoy and fully controls his own plane Molor. His “body” holds no real shape of its own; his mass is a slimy, faceless animated blob dotted with red eyes, capable of spitting acid and swallowing enemies whole. He is often found with other slime-based monsters, such as slimes, molds, and so forth.
