a classic, lopsided jude smirk fell onto his features when bright orbs spotted the familiar other at the bar. “surprised to see you here. didn’t know you drank.” the raven haired man teased as he plopped up on the bar stool opposite from dani, blue eyes casually raking in the other’s appearance, “just trying to get a good visual. for when i dress up as you for the queen’s party.” he turned away just long enough to flag down the bartender, ordering another round and gesturing toward dani, “and whatever he’s having.”
Dani didn’t go to the bar often. Usually, he only went after long hours of studying when he needed a little something to drink. He didn’t dance or do anything wild, no. In fact, he just sat at the bar with a notebook and wrote. That’s what he was in the middle of doing before he heard Jude’s voice, head turning to meet him with a polite smile. “Jude- hey. Yeah, I usually have one or two when I come here.” He set the pencil down on the page, fingers twiddling with the paper. “You’re actually doing that? Goodness, I thought that was a joke. I’m warning you, I don’t really fit in with any specific style.”
