It's always a pleasure to visit the Monkees set and see the friendly familiar faces. There's Gene, the wardrobe man; Charlie, the electrician; Jon, the assistant director; all faces I'm glad to see. And then there's Paul (or is it Peter?)... what's his name... and Davy Smith or Brown or something... Mike or Mick or Mack... nice boys. (Yes, I'm kidding.)...

"We started watching the second show with hardly a worry clouding our Beatlemaniac minds. We were shocked out of that reverie in the third number. Some idiot in the mezzanine had exploded a cherry bomb, which sounded far too much like a gunshot. It was several seconds (though it seemed like hours) before we started breathing again. Cynthia Lennon Visting Sgt. Pepper Recording Session

March 29, 1967 - The Beatles gathered around the piano working on a song for their nearly completed Sgt. Pepper album. Guests in studio No. 2 at Abbey Road included Tony Barrow, Judith Sims - editor of Teen Set magazine, Terry Doran and Cynthia Lennon. Judith Sims visited two Beatles recording sessions and reported in Teen Set that Cynthia Lennon now had ash blonde hair. A copy of Teen Set is prominently displayed on top of the piano.
