I have a small and very pointless question but I’ve been trying to figure out what this little green pin on Peter’s vest says, and I was wondering if you had any idea or were able to decipher it easier… Thank you so much!! :3

Hi there torkmeister! That is a good question. I'm not sure what the button says either, and I think that’s the best picture I’ve seen of that button. Here are all the pictures I have that may include the button.

To me, it looks like it says “I are a Pollock”... but every possible way I try to interpret that doesn’t make sense, unless maybe it’s being ironic.

I was delighted to find this painting at an antique store last week: The Brave One by Gene Sterling.

There were many mad-cap moments on the set of the Monkees' "Untitled" movie before they finished filming in May. The four boys returned to the California desert for more shots there, they filmed some football scenes at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and then it was back to the Columbia Ranch in Burbank.

At the Ranch they filmed some western set shots and some unbelievable underwater scenes...

Sure it's flattering to have everybody chasing after you. But suppose you just want to buy a quick hamburger or nip in to see a movie in the local cinema if everybody's after you for autographs or chats you never make it...

The Inside Story on the Far East Tour from Monkees Monthly (November 1968)

It was, as the Monkees themselves say, one tremendous, memorable, fascinating trip. The boys, plus their entourage, went to Australia, then Japan breaking new ground and bringing great joy to a few more million fans. One could write a book about what the Monkees saw and did, even though it was a fairly shortish tour.
