From a distance, the scene might look concerning. A young man laying face-down upon the ground, an open umbrella by his side as if he’d dropped it. And really, it was too hot for said young man, but the reality of the situation?
He was fine. Mostly fine, anyways, though he should really get up soon before ‘mostly fine’ became ‘certainly not fine,’ considering his health. Yet Rei remained on the ground, unmoving but continuing to groan in an overly-dramatic fashion.
“Putting a vampire in such a horrendous climate... oioioi, this is cruel, is it not? Isn’t it?” What did he even hope to accomplish, anyways? Nothing, aside from fooling around for a moment (and giving himself a break from wandering about). “A vacation is not meant to steadily drain one’s life force, you know? (sob sob).”
What a mess, really. Rei, that is.

“Cold... cold...” He repeats to himself. His coat spared him from the brunt of it, but it was still enough to leave him being a shivering mess. Choromatsu knew it was going to be cold, but by god THIS COLD?! It was just turning summer back home too! “This can’t be good for anyone... No matter how much time you spend off of one island compared to the others.” He could only imagine how well his brothers would handle this. ...Not well at all... Well except for Jyushimatsu. Maybe. That one was always the wild card and left him surprised with whatever he did. The others? Not so much. If the weather is affecting Choromatsu this much, he knew his painful older brother would be suffering right now. And Also knowing him, despite the weather, he’d be wearing some sort of clothing with holes or tears. That dumbass.
But thinking about them only made him wonder more and more if they were here or not. He’d scoured around Sorrell as much as he could with the time he had. No luck... Only made sense he’d find himself exploring this island.
A nice breeze blows through him, sending more shivers down his spine
“...COLD!!! OKAY!!!” That snapped him out of it. “I need something warm!” He hurries over to the nearest vending machine to get himself a can of hot coffee, but spies someone there already.... Someone wearing really fancy attire. Was that a cape? The Green NEET sighs a little, but takes his spot behind the fellow, waiting for his turn at the machine. ...Was that a wine glass he was holding?

The other was about to get casually situated in his room, that was, until he saw a giant bat fast asleep upside down on the ceiling in the hallway just when he was going to open the door! “Waaaaah!” Kaito had exclaimed and fell backwards onto the ground, but he quickly got up and recovered. Eyeing the bat some more - he could see that this wasn’t a bat but.. a vampire? His confusion and worries got even more prominent. Was this a joke? Had to be. Vampires don’t exist! Maybe this guy is just one huger weirdo, yeah, has to be it. He could only hope.
“Do you really have to sleep like that?” He looked at the apparent ‘vampire’, who was now awake (thanks to his loud yelp) with a look of annoyance. “I mean, if you want to sleep in the hall way you could just sleep on the ground like a normal person instead of freaking me out so bad.”

As important as it was for her to find a way to get back to Seraphina’s pocket Netherworld, there was something much more dire. So much so that young demon was willing to ask the first stranger she sees for assistance with.
She lightly tugged their sleeve to get their attention and spoke in a soft tone.
“Um, excuse me plip. Do you know the nearest place place to get some curry? It’s very important...”
