Meet a new member of the #juicefam: Rohima Ward! While shes not sliging juice at the juice bar, she’s a professional ballet dancer! Rohima dances with @pittsburghballettheatre and is a minimalist at heart. She previously worked at a restaurant where the everyday waste got too much to handle for her and she wanted to work somewhere that was as green and as dedicated to low waste as she was. Meet Mark! 📸 Mark is one of the newer additions to the juice company. He’s originally from New York and moved to the ‘burgh about 5 years ago. As a vegan, he visited PJC often and that’s what drew him to want to work with us. When he’s not on the juicer he’s at home reworking vintage audio and music systems and crushing it as a plant dad & an actual dad to his awesome little dude 👨👦🌱 we’re so happy to have him join the #juicefam! 💕Hey Renee 💕 Renee has been a part of the #juicefam for awhile now. Renees #whyPJC story is amazing. Her journey to PJC because she is going to school to be a dietician, but she needed a part time job that she didn’t have to alter her personal health beliefs for. She’d worked in restaurants where she’d feel guilty recommending things she didn’t really suggest and she’d always leave work a little down and hungry. PJC has been amazing for her because here you don’t have to sacrifice flavor for health. Renee continuously chooses PJC because she loves the freshness and our commitment to organic fruits and veggies. She also loves anything local, which makes the juice company a great option. “The wholesome ingredients are amazing- I never come in and feel “ew gross” about what I’m serving people. When someone comes in here and I can provide something wholesome and healthy for them and I love that”. Hey juice fam, meet Anya! Anya is 22 and originally from the Ukraine. She moved to the US at age 15 and has been in the ‘burgh for almost 5 years now. When looking for a job while she attends Pitt for architecture, she was looking for job that would fit in with her lifestyle and values as a vegan. She chose to have her career with PJC because she likes the idea that she plays a part in nourishing someone else and helping someone for the better. Her favorite drinks are the Pomegranate Punch and the Slap Shot that we special brew for the Penguins. When she’s not juicing she loves making food & art, which to her are basically the same thing.
