Okay so your recent sherlock posts may or may not have forced my hand at making my own mini-sherlock recreation?? like, i'm thinking of making it worded out semi-old english style but also like, hilariously modern at the same time. also everyone is in high school (because im in high school so i make the rules). john/joan watson doesn't have military experience, but was in a car accident which fucked up their left knee. i have more but tumblr ask space is small so i'm leaving here but im excite!!

I’ve always wanted to play with writing stuff in the style of 19th-century novels (fun nerdy english major fact: the SH books were written during the realism era of art, following the romantic era!!) but then have something obviously modern in it! I’ve just never had the courage and could never figure out how to execute it well (I think you made the perfect choices!!) I can perfectly imagine some beautiful, Watsonian line about someone flossing (do high school kids floss?? idk I’m old)

I looove your idea for Watson, too! Does it affect any part of his extra-curriculars? Does he have to give up sports for a while? Does he struggle with that? I’m so excited to see how you’re going to handle all of this!!!

And I’m a college student, but I still appreciate a good high school au. They take me back to the good old days of never paying attention in math or science and instead creating AUs in my head and then writing them on the bus home. I hope you have fun!!

Hetalia: Homestuck has some really cool and complex characters though! (i mean, with that length, of course you’d need some interesting people!) I really want to learn more about the other people and their back stories!

Homestuck: I think the exaggerated personalities are quite entertaining in Hetalia’s manga and anime. I do wish it was more than the main 8, though. But in the most recent season I think they focused a bit too much on the Nordics...but maybe it’s just me.
