With this air fryer recipe, you can turn a turkey breast into a tasty, juicy dish with a sweet and sour cherry glaze. It's great for a special event or whenever you need a quick and tasty turkey dinner.
Ingredients: 1 turkey breast 2-3 pounds. 1 cup frozen cherries, thawed. 1/2 cup cherry preserves. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Cooking spray.
Instructions: Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 375F 190C. Put the thawed cherries, cherry preserves, balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan and set it over medium-low heat. For about 5 to 7 minutes, stir the mixture every now and then as it thickens and the cherries break down. Take it off the heat and set it aside. Add the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and rosemary to a small bowl. Mix these together to make a turkey breast rub. Use paper towels to dry the turkey breast, then rub the spice mixture all over it making sure it's covering the whole thing. Spray cooking spray lightly on the air fryer basket to keep food from sticking. Put the turkey breast, skin-side up, in the air fryer basket that has already been heated. For 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C, air fry the turkey breast at 375F 190C. Every 10 minutes, baste it with the cherry glaze while it's cooking. Get the turkey breast out of the air fryer when it's fully cooked and the skin is golden brown. Let it rest for a few minutes. The air-fried turkey breast should be sliced and served hot with the rest of the cherry glaze drizzled over it. Have fun with your Cherry Glazed Air-Fried Turkey Breast!
