I'm honestly not fond of the time reversal at the end of SL, so I kind of just ignore that and find ways to sew the original SL timeline and Ragnarok timeline together because I think there are a lot of things that could still work without the time reversal. I'm just gonna jot a few notes about some relationships (platonic and romantic) down here and maybe add onto this if people are interested
JinHae: I think after the war, they start dating more officially, get married a year or two later, and have Suho a year or two after that. In that time, I think they spend more time together and getting to actually know each other since I headcanon that the number of gates decreases by more than half and doesn't increase again until decades later. Jinwoo still has his own guild, but I think it would become less of a "solo" guild since Jinwoo wants to step back from raiding and spend more time with family and friends, so Jinho takes charge more in recruiting hunters. I think the focus hunter-wise would be on those who need flexible schedules due to family obligations. I need to think about that more though
ChoiBaek: Of course I'm talking about them. The only reason why I talked about Jinhae first is because Suho is literally the main character of Ragnarok. Anyways, I don't know how, but Miho is born about a year after the war ends. I had this headcanon that Jongin becomes the new chairman(?) of the Hunters Association instead of Jinchul (dun wurry, Gunhee is alive, just retired), and Son Kihoon becomes the new guild master of the Hunters Guild (not Haein because she don't really want that). Not sure if I'll go with it, but that would happen a few years after Miho is born. Not sure when they got married, but if I'm being indulgent, it's whenever mango-crab had them get married (I like their headcanons). When was that? I dunno
JuJin (Juhee and Jinwoo): I don't ship them, but Juhee was done so dirty in canon that I wanted to give her a place in this AU. I actually have these two as exes who are still on good terms with no drama. I think they hang out sometimes whenever they happen to be in each other's area (maybe once a month or so?). Their birthdays are in the same month (March), so I like to think they spend more time together during that month. They have a lot in common. Oh, and Juhee studies to become a doctor. Maybe that's how she meets Byungyu, and I get my MinLee ship
Sung Family: Everyone's awake and alive. I think after Ilhwan fought against the Monarchs, his body was able to stabilize instead of disintegrating but at the cost of his hunter abilities. So not a total loss. I do think Ilhwan would return to being a firefighter. Man can't stay still for long. Only after he spends months at home with his wife and kids though. Jinah goes to medical school too since she wants to be a doctor. Actually, maybe she works with Juhee and Byungyu later. Hmm, something to think about
YoonSeokGyu: I'm keeping all of them alive. Yoonho is still the guild master of the White Tiger Guild, but I'm still working the details out for the others. I have Eunseok as an amputee (lost his arm and leg), but I want him to work as the vice guild master of the White Tiger Guild who mainly does admin work and trains new recruits. He took a few years off after the third Jeju raid, but does some paperwork for the guild for a while before recruit training later. Byungyu is still fully retires because the idea for raiding is still not good for his heart (figuratively, not literally). He still works towards becoming a teacher, but he does choose to be on call for any hunter emergencies (like in the mango-crabs fic where Jongin almost died, that was a really good fic, you should go read it, I'm gonna go re-read it-)
