Wait when did jake and Celeste split???

It was implied that Jake and Celeste split at the end of season 3 when Jake moved to a bigger mansion. But then again, she still has his last name. We don’t know much about the details, hopefully it would be explained in the next book (Mr. Kiss and Tell).
