So I have a question... Why didn’t they get the great and powerful Julia Andrews reprise her role? Yes the kite scene is cool and everything, but imagine Mary Poppins (Julia Andrews) coming down, going over the gate, up to the door and about to knock... when she looks down at her hand and goes “I might be to old for this” having the camera circle around and it’s Emily Blunt.... yeah I would have liked that a bit more

I mean honestly is no one going to talk about how Queen Clarisse Renaldi lost her husband AND son within a year and still managed to keep her shit together? She's running a country, talking with other world leaders, attending important events, teaching her granddaughter how to be a princess and dealing with American teenage angst, on top of grieving the two most important people in her life and doesn't have a mental breakdown??! Freaking incredible.
