There is alot of talk on here about TRM being a standalone. I am keeping my fingers crossed in the hopes that it is on a break for a sequel. I am wondering if it was originally meant to be one book but rewriting for a sequel. Three chapters is not enough to cover all loose ends. Who is the assassin? The MC's magic? Her parents? Coronation? Plus with the character back stories there is many opportunities for further books. Plus not enough alone scenes with LI. Remember we didnt have an intimate scene with Drake TRR till book 2 chapter 16 (that seemed like forever...) There cant be just three chapters of Kayden left 😣
