Austin listened to the talking in the background, but he was lost in thought. Almost two weeks had passed since that night. No signal, no call, no message. Anything. He thought she probably wouldn’t call for him anymore when the phone rang. She asked him to come to the apartment for the weekend. Once more she left him surprised. On Saturday afternoon he took him to Julia and Martin's house. He felt a mixture of fear and excitement. I had never been in a high-end home in Bridgeport, he didn’t even have a clue how it would be.
