why the bathroom bill hysteria is so problematic:

all the transphobia being sparked by the whole bathroom bill situation disgusts me. do you know how scary it is to use the bathroom as someone who is trans or gender nonconforming already? really fucking scary!! ever sense i was little people have harassed me in bathrooms. all my life people have yelled at me in bathrooms, shielded their kids from me in bathrooms, argued with me in bathrooms over my own gender, and treated me like a predator. so ever since i was little i have been terrified to use the restroom in public. i just want to pee in peace okay. trans people just want to pee in peace. trans people are not predators. cis people have nothing to worry about. so please please please stop spreading all this anti-trans speech it only promotes this sort of awful behavior against trans and gender nonconforming people.

hi hello. i have some questions about gender, and i wanna see how other people respond to them. so shoot me a message or chat or reply responding and ill love you forever. i just wanna know people’s honest opinions.

how do you define gender? (like does it have physical, mental, biological, etc. traits or just a construct of stereotypes)

how do you define sex? (not the frick frack kind)

can a person identify strongly with their sex while also not being cis? (for example: a person of the female sex who identifies with their sex and being a woman in that way but rejects gender and also identifies as agender)

there's seriously too much negativity in this world... specially towards women.... we get attacked for what we wear, how much makeup we put on, who we hang out with, what we like, even what snapchat filter we use... can't that like stop? the worst thing is women putting other women down... can't people just keep their negative comments to themselves? is it really necessary to leave negative comments on someone's social media? how did name calling suddenly become okay? how can we live with bullying people so much that they end up deleting their accounts? it doesn't matter if a person is famous, connected to someone famous, or just a normal person. sending hate and negativity is NEVER okay! you don't have to like someone or agree with the things they do, but keeping their name out of your mouth is easier than commenting "slut!" on their account
