Queer Mentorship Survey

Are you a part of the lgbtq+ community? Have you ever had a formative relationship with an older queer person? If yes, I would love your help! I am conducting a research project on the complex manifestations of queer mentorship. I am looking for queer participants ages 18-30 to take a brief anonymous survey on their experience with queer mentor figures (meaning any relationship with an older queer person who helped of guided you as a younger queer person) whether that be good, bad, helpful, hurtful, or both. I seek to understand how queer mentorship manifests in the lives of queer youth in order to shed light on the positives and negatives of these relationships. Hopefully, this process could aid in improving queer mentorship as a practice and in turn help queer youth and queer community as a whole.

Re. Top surgery. I haven't had personal experience, but you should check out Jackson Bird's youtube (I think his second channel is the one with the top surgery diaries - alsothebird). Also Chase Ross's channel, and Ash Hardel, who hasn't had top surgery yet and so is going through the process of arranging it and stuff. They all documented a whole bunch of useful stuff and answered faq in their videos so it would be a useful resource for ppl wanting top surgery. Hope this is useful, and gl!

hello! if anyone has had top surgery, i think i want it and i have some questions! i want the results, but the process sounds scary. i’ve never had surgery or stitches, and the idea is scary to me. is it always gonna be scary? and is that okay? when did you know you were ready? how did you know where to start looking for surgeons? im looking for guidance.
