Listen. Julian needs his good morning and goodnight kisses. Every day. No questions, no excuses, no what if’s or buts. 

He’s getting his kisses. 

So, when you two are getting ready for bed one night and you start telling him that you and Asra are heading out of town for a week, he just about loses his ever-loving mind. “What? No! You can’t leave. What about the shop? Who’s going to run it while you two are gone? What if you get hurt, or worse, and I never see you again? What if—”

You cut his rambling off with a sweet kiss to his lips, his body immediately relaxing against yours. “Well, if you would’ve let me finish I would’ve told you that he wants to know if you’re coming with us,” you reply, your mouth quirking up into a smirk and your eyes twinkling with mirth. His face instantly lights up with color, his eyes shifting away from you from embarrassment. 

“Oh,” is his meek, embarrassed reply. 

“Yeah, oh,” you mock, starting to giggle as you bring your body closer to his in your bed. “I’ll tell him tomorrow that you’re coming with us.”

“Okay. Goodnight,” he whispers, bringing his head up to hover over yours, giving you his infamous goodnight kiss. “I love you,” he mumbles against your lips. 

“I love you more. See you in the morning, dork.”

I have an aesthetic with Trolls and it's "outfits that don't make sense".

I think he would be marginally happier in this life, actually. Born into a cavern, having a purpose, knowing who he is and what he's meant to do and be. Unlike in his canon timeline, where he's still trying to figure everything out while shouldering his trauma. Would still rather show you a smile than to let you know anything's wrong, either way.
