Gig #41 of 2014: ELLMS
Last Thursday, July 3rd I decided late in the evening to head out to Alex's Bar in Long Beach. The only band on the bill I knew was Terminal A but they had already played by the time I arrived. I did manage to catch the set by Long Beach based ELLMS. I hadn't heard of them or their music prior to seeing them but they were loud, heavy, and reminded me of the things I greatly enjoy about the band BIG BUSINESS. I couldn't hear the vocals too clearly but I think that may have been more of an issue with the way they were mixed, guess I'll just need to see them again.
