a thing about activism on tumblr dot com is that people want to be able to oppose those who don't agree with them on issues that are important to them.

when an issue is so widely accepted that the only people you can find to disagree with are people who agree with most of your points already, you're creating a problem.

anyway this seems to be part of the reason why people are jumping at the throats of non-zionist Jews who are anti-genocide and pro-Palestinian but don't want to blow up Israel and pave it over again. there are other reasons, of course, but i think it'd help a lot of people to realize your enemy is not here.
