With this simple recipe, you can easily make your own tasty Jumbo Jack Burger at home. An old favorite, it has juicy beef patties, melted American cheese, and a special sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices American cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup chopped lettuce. 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes. 1/4 cup sliced pickles. 1/4 cup diced onions. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to each patty. Put the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Add a slice of American cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt. Fry or grill the hamburger buns for a few seconds on each side while the patties are cooking. To make the special sauce, mix the mayonnaise and ketchup together in a small bowl. Put together your Jumbo Jack burgers: Put some of the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then a burger patty with cheese that has melted on top of that. Put pickles, diced onions, and tomato slices on top of the patty. To finish the burger, put the top half of the bun on top of the assembled ingredients. Take a bite of your hot Jumbo Jack burger and enjoy it!
