This takeaway brunch is from my favourite Vegetarian Rice (斋饭) stall a few blocks away from where my place is. I had ngoh hiang rolls (五香卷) which is stuffed with mashed yam (taro) and carrot bits instead of the usual minced pork and prawn. A deep-fried “chicken drumstick” made from bean curd skins with ice cream stick for the “bone”. Also in the pack is a piece of hashbrown and stewed knotted bean curd skins.

being an unironic fan of the rodfellows movie while simultaneously being aware of all the awful shit those guys did is incredibky difficult snd shitty and sucks assss. heres a drawing of hashbrown
