One of the reasons that I enjoy my little walkies as often as I can fit it in, is that I am always rewarded by stumbling on glimpses of the simple things that inspires my mind and gets me thinking.

So effing frustrating
They talk about wanting to send 20% of students on exchange, yet they make it so effing difficult.
I find out that UC has prerequisites for each major. For Business you need to do microeconomics, macroeconomics, calculus and statistics. I've done stats and I'm currently doing micro. There is no space for me to do macro or calculus in my course, meaning I'd have to do them over summer or winter break, adding a few grand (out of pocket, you can't put it on HECS) without adding anything towards my course. I don't even think they're running outside of regular semesters, meaning if i wanted to get them both done before I went away, I'd have to be doing 6 subjects next semester, instead of 4 (and passing them all with an average of 70%).
Look up the prereqs for calculus at my Uni and you had to do maths methods or specialist in VCE. I didn't, I did further (because I knew I didn't need it for my course, so I did well in further instead of failing methods).
So now I'm pretty much fkd and I don't know if I can do any exchange :(
This had been my biggest motivator for doing well in Uni, now I don't even know what to do :(
