So it's been a couple days, I've found a lot of bugs but I keep forgetting to post them here heheheh! Anyway, this popillia japonica japanese beetle was on a leaf while I was taking a walk! Just learned it's invasive so youch...

Even got a picture of its ass like a pervert. 💜

Met this guy the other night! My husband says it's a June beetle! I've never seen one before, I had no idea the PNW had such big beetles!

Hellomn, yesssk, this looks to be one of two species...

If it has tiny hairs on the pronotum, the area behind the head before the wing covers, it's a Long-haired June Beetle (Polyphylla crinita), family Scarabaeidae.

If it lacks those hairs on the pronotum, it's a Ten-lined June Beetle (Polyphylla decemlineata), family Scrabaeidae.
