Hello!! Can you tell me anything about George Harrison and Ringo Starr at Cannes in May of 72? Because I know there’s a photo going around of George Pattie Mo and Ringo going to Cannes, I’m just very interested about the time!
Hi! That year, the Concert for Bangladesh film was screened, and the documentary Raga was featured; as the director, Howard Worth, recalled, "The only reason RAGA finally became a reality is due to only one person — George Harrison" - you can read more about that in this older post.
On a related note, here's another photo, of George with Marc Bolan from St. Tropez in 1972, photographed by June Bolan:
June Bolan and Angie Bowie made huge contributions to the development of their husbands’ images, operating as a combination of mentor, muse, adviser, stylist, networker and protective filter between the star and the outside world.

The Arrows crew and family circa 1976 - Photo courtesy of the collection of Eve Taylor. In this photo it is Bet and Bob Taylor with Terry and Eve Taylor in the top row, and seated are June Bolan, Alan Merrill, Lorna Luft and Jake Hooker. Arrows show season two was on air around this time of that year.
