AN: Day two of June Jukebox Scribbles, here we go. It’s time for Nick and his Bratty Sugar-baby and look, I finally made them a series. And, yeah, they're both a little unhinged, so head the tags.
The prompt is I wanna be bad - Willa Ford.
Unbeta’d. Banner and divider by me.

Relationship: Nick Fowler x Bratty Sugar-baby female reader.
Word count: 300
CW: Explicit Sexual Content, non-consensual voyeurism, murder, dark themes
“You’re being very bad, prinţesă,” Nick growled in your ear even as his hips snapped against your ass. You let out a reedy whine and reached up behind you to grip his short dark hair.
“I wanna be bad,” you breathed out as another sharp thrust rattled your frame and sent stars dancing across your vision. The desk under your body squeaked an inch across the floor.
“I know you do.” He nipped at your ear lobe making you gasp and inched his hand up under your silk negligée. His fingers reached under you, his hips stilling so he could feel where the pair of you were joined, and let out a mona before shifting his digits up to your clit and resuming his brutal pace. “But you know you’re not supposed to come down here when I’m working.”
From beneath your fluttering eyelids you caught sight of the bound, bruised and bloodied man in the chair on the other side of the room.
“But I missed you,” you pouted.
“Draga,” he scolded, “you know I like to keep you away from the messy side of all this. Now, come on my cock like a good girl. You need to go back to bed and wait for me while I take out the trash.”
“Does he have what you need,” you asked, inclining your head toward the petrified man.
“No. Doesn’t know anything,” came the ragged response.
In a flash you grasped Nick’s gun off the desk you were bent over and emptied the clip into the man. It wasn’t your best work, but it did the job.
Behind you, Nick growled and thrust against you harder, but you just grinned at the pleasure-pain. “There, dealt with. You can get someone to clean up later.”
Society Folklore June Jukebox Scribbles Masterlist
Created with @soelstress, hosted over at @societynsoelsscribbles, and managed with the assistance of @buckybarnesfic.
June Jukebox was exactly what it promised to be: one hell of a jam session.
As always, scribbles are around the 300-word mark..
This masterlist is my personal collection as a host, containing 84 completed scribbles. (MY BIGGEST ONE YET!)
Personally, I have loved getting back into the swing of writing like this again…chasing the rhythm, following the vibes, letting the music pull each piece into something fun, soft, dark, silly or sweet. Fingers crossed this means I’m not quite as out of practice as I thought I was. I know I’ve felt out of sync these last few month…
All prompts were fulfilled, with doubles on some days, swap-outs completed, and a few extra tracks thrown into the mix. Across the month we covered around 40 different babes, a wide range of pairings, dynamics, and AUs, and built on the momentum of previous Scribbles events to produce my biggest setlist yet.
Some pieces stand alone. Others connect to existing works, universes, or may be expanded on later.
Some of the works are 18+ and intended for an adult audience. Individual warnings or triggers have not been listed per entry, so please consume at your own discretion.
Do not copy, translate, or cross-post these works to other platforms.
The jukebox was the point.
Different songs. Different moods. Different babes. Different vibes.
One month of writing, one full setlist, and a whole lot of noise.

AN: June Jukebox Scribbles day three and I’m revisiting a pairing from January Jumble Scribbles, Mob Curtis and School Teacher reader. This is the start of their story.
Today’s prompt is Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin.

Relationship: Mob! Curtis Everett x School Teacher female reader.
Word count: 300
CW: Meet-ugly
All you wanted was a relaxing night out. As a school teacher, often your evenings were spent marking or lesson planning, and inevitably picking glitter glue out from under your nails. However, it was the start of spring break and you’d promised yourself – and your girlfriends – that, for one night only, you’d cut loose. You could catch up on Monday.
Dressed up for the first time in longer than you could remember, all that was standing between you and good time at the nightclub two towns over was the line to get in. The long-ass line.
Behind you, just off to the side of the line, you heard some over the top giggling and turned to see a tipsy looking brunette batting her eyelashes at a handsome, solidly built man with a buzz cut. They weren’t alone, with several other men and women making up their group.
“Thanks for bringing me along, babe,” Tipsy giggled at Buzz Cut, stumbling over her feet, and you rolled your eyes at your friends.
As the loud group got closer you realised that they weren’t lining up behind you, instead walking straight past toward the door. The rule follower in you railed the idea of them cutting.
“Oh,” you shouted out loudly, getting Buzz Cut’s attention. “The line forms on the right, babe.”
It was as though the whole line was holding their collective breaths. Buzz Cut raised his eyebrow, looked you over and then handed off Tipsy to one of his friends. He sauntered over, your friends and the rest of the line seeming to melt away.
“You always a stickler for rules?” he asked, apparently amused.
“You always trying to break them?” you countered.
He snorted with a grin, rocking back on his heels. “It’s not breaking rules if it’s my club.”
AN: It’s day one of June Jukebox Scribbles! Yay! Go check out @societynsoelsscribbles for the info post.
The prompt today is Joy To The World byThree Dog Night and I decided to visit Ari and Angel.

Relationship: Ari x Female Reader (Angel)
Word Count: 300
CW: Hormonal reader, suggestive themes.
“Well joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea,” you snapped, waspishly, crossing your arms over your chest.
You didn’t know why you were in such a bad mood. Ari didn’t deserve your ire, especially as he’d brought you out on his boat to cheer you up, but every nice thing he’d tried to do for you in the last few days had rubbed you up the wrong way. This time he’d only pointed out that once he’d piloted you out far enough, the pair of you would be able to snorkel to look at the fish.
From behind, you heard him sigh and the boat slowed down, until it came to a full stop. A pair of thick arms banded round you and his beard tickled your ear.
“Angel, I know that your hormones have got your panties in a wad, but you know better than to talk to me like that.” His voice rumbled through your whole body, settling low in your abdomen. “Now, are you gonna apologise so we can have a good day or do I gotta fuck the PMS outta you?”
Realisation smacked you in the face. Why hadn’t you put two and two together?
You wriggled to face him, wrapping your arms around his waist and pressing your cheek into his chest.
“Are both options on the table?” you asked, knowing you were being cheeky, but also knowing he wouldn’t mind.
Ari hummed, putting on an air of indifference that had you smiling. You reached up to press a lingering kiss to his chapped lips.
“‘M sorry, Daddy. Sorry for being ungrateful. I love you.”
“I love you too, baby girl. Now let’s go see the fish and after I’ll fuck you right here on the deck.”
AN: Is day 5 of June Jukebox Scribbles too soon to repeat a pairing? Oh well! Let’s find out what Mob Curtis’ thoughts are after meeting our feisty reader in the line for his night club?

Relationship: Mob! Curtis Everett x School Teacher female reader.
Word count: 226
CW: Alcohol consumption, mention of drugs, Curtis being a bit creepy
Across the top of his beer, from his seat in the VIP area, Curtis kept his eyes on the young woman who’d tried to bust his balls in the line. He’d intended to spend the evening in the company of Gloria, the brunette currently draped half over him – she was normally up for a good time – but there was just something about this other woman.
He watched as she chatted, danced and drank with her small group of friends, cutting loose and obviously enjoying herself, despite the minor faux pas she’d committed outside.
Movement on his right drew his attention. Edgar, his brother. Gloria was easily moved – directed off in someone else’s direction as Edgar sat down beside him.
“She’s caught your attention, Curt, hasn’t she. You’ve been watching her all evening. And ignoring Gloria. If she was more sober she’d be pissed.”
Curtis rolled his eyes. “Gloria’ll survive. It’s not like she’s lacking in entertainment.” He tilted his head to where Gloria and another friend were merrily grinding on Grey. “She goes where the booze and coke take her, but that girl?” He pointed. “She’s different.”
“Feisty?”
“Principled.” His gaze wandered back, drawn to her like a magnet.
“Doesn’t seem like she belongs in our world, Curt. Seems very straight-laced. What are you going to do?”
AN: Hello, lovelies. For day 7 of #JuneJukeboxScribbles, you’re getting some more Sam (a totally different Sam to day 4) Enjoy. No pronouns for reader, although they do giggle and drink a cocktail and Sam calls them Sugar.

Relationship: Sam Wilson x GN! reader.
Word count: 300
CW: Flirting, Strangers to Lovers, Sam being Charming.
“Hey, Sugar.” The man you’d been eye-fucking all night – smooth dark skin, close cropped hair and a sexy gap-toothed smile – slipped onto the bar stool next to you, voice as deep and rich as molasses. “Your eyes tell me that you want me, so how about we get out of here. I promise you won’t regret it.”
You couldn’t help but giggle, trying – and failing – to smoother your laugh with your hand. His eyes didn’t lose any of their shine at your reaction. Yes it was cheesy, but his bravado came across as charming as opposed to creepy.
“That line work for you often?” you retorted before slipping the straw of your cocktail back between your lips.
“You tell me,” he replied with a broad grin, leaning back against the bar and unashamedly looking you over. “I’m Sam by the way. Thought you might want to know.”
You placed your now empty glass back on the bar, looking up at him flirtatiously. You were enjoying this – the push and pull of attraction, the non-so-innocent game that you were both playing. “And why would that be,” you questioned, placing your elbow on the bar and your chin in your palm, the fingers of your other hand trailing up and down the condensation damp glass.
“Don’t make me say it, Sugar. You know why.”
You sat back up, giving him a blatant once over now, pointer finger tapping over your lips. “You seem very sure for a man who hasn’t even asked me to dance or bought me a drink.”
“Baby, you’ve been watching me dance – you know I can move. And if you want a drink, then I’ll get you one, but I’ve got a feeling that you don’t wanna waste any more time.”
AN: Day 6, whoop whoop! Today’s prompt is Therefore I am by Billie Eilish and who better to fit the theme of this song than Ransom Drysdale?

Relationship: Ransom Drysdale x Female Reader
Word count: 300
CW: Alcohol Consumption, Innuendo, Angst
You loved your job, really you did, but at this moment in time you wished you could be anywhere else.
“Hey, gorgeous!” The well-dressed patron of your gallery sauntered over to you, obviously more than three sheets to the wind. That was the problem with exhibition opening nights – too much complementary champagne and too many entitled assholes. Ransom being one of them.
You grabbed hold of his arms, mainly to steady him, but also to prevent him getting close enough to envelope you in an embrace.
“Mr Drysdale,” you greeted, a rictus grin on your face. “Thank you for coming.”
“Isn’t that my line?” he grinned back, with a smarmy waggle of his eyebrows. “And it’s Ransom, like I told you before.” Somehow you stamped down the urge to roll your eyes and carried on as if he hadn’t just said something crass, steering him to a quieter area, away from your other patrons.
“Have you seen any pieces that you like the look of yet?” There was a hopeful note to your voice - you needed to get this conversation onto professional ground.
His hands slipped your hold to take hold of your hips. “Definately, gorgeous.”
Now you did raise your eyebrow, before removing his sweaty paws from your dress.
“Look, Mr Drysdale… Ransom… I know that you think that you’re ‘the man’, but I’m not interested.”
He scowled down at you, hurt and sadness flashing in his eye. “Just after me for my money, eh, gorgeous? Just like everyone else? Only give me the time of day if I drop you 50K?”
Your mouth dropped open at his change of tone.
“Yeah, that’s what I thought. Screw you.” He whirled away in a cloud of expensive cologne and for some unknown reason, even though you shouldn’t, you felt guilty.
AN: And on the fourth day of June Jukebox Scribbles I’m finally getting off my ass and writing the prologue to a project long burning in my brain. This little ficlet takes up immediately after the end of my Bucky x Reader Mob Au fic from 2023 - Power Play.

Relationship: Mob! Sam Wilson x Homeless! female reader.
Word count: 300
CW: Kidnap, Vomiting, Fear
When you opened your eyes, you weren’t anywhere you recognised. This was a bedroom. In a house. Not somewhere on the streets.
It came back to you in a blur. The alley. You’d been setting up behind the bins. A guy had come out of the club for a smoke, and then another guy had come up and… and shot him. Straight in the head.
You rolled out of the bed, grabbing for the waste basket and emptying the meagre contents of your stomach into it.
When you eventually stopped heaving, you took the chance to look around. Where were you? You’d fully expected the guy to kill you, but you must have passed out and now you were, well, wherever you were.
Wonder which way do I go to get on out of here, you thought to yourself.
Using the bed to help you, you rose to your feet, but your legs were all wobbly, a side effect of the malnutrition you knew you were suffering from.
Just as you thought you had your footing, the door suddenly opened. The man, the man with the gun, stood there. You snatched up the lamp, ready to defend yourself.
“Stay back,” you cautioned, albeit impotently.
The man just rolled his eyes with an indulgent smile as he stepped forward. “Put that down before you hurt yourself, Mouse.”
“Mouse?” came your indignant squeak. You lifted the lamp a little higher, but he effortlessly wrestled it from you and placed it back down.
“Well,” he continued, “you were hiding behind some bins and calling you ‘Rat’ feels a bit mean. You want to tell me your real name?”
You shook your head, definitely not wanting to do that.
“Well, in that case, I’ll keep calling you Mouse and you can call me Sam.”
