Yoooo you’re from galar?! Have you ever seen a galarian slowpoke??? Like in real life??? I LOVE galarian slowpokes! They’re so precious!! I’ve always wanted to see one just chilling on a dock or a beach somewhere…. I feel like I could achieve inner peace by just witnessing them lol

Also- my recipe contribution! Idk if you like pumpkin, but this is my go-to fall recipe for Pumpkin Cake! 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 3/4 cup cooked mashed pumpkin (fresh or from a can) 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/3 cup buttermilk (I usually use powdered buttermilk) 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour 1 tbsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350° (Fahrenheit- idk which you use in Galar!) Grease two 8-inch round cakepans Mix the Base ingredients: Combine butter and both sugars until combined and fluffy, then add egg and pumpkin and beat well. Mix the Wet ingredients: Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk (if using powdered buttermilk just mix the baking soda with water, but add a tiny bit of vinegar or lemon juice- something acidic to activate the baking soda) Mix the Dry ingredients: Combine the flour with the remaining dry ingredients: baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using powdered buttermilk you would add the powdered buttermilk here with the rest of the dry ingredients) Take your Base (pumpkin/butter/sugar/egg mixture) and add the Dry ingredients and the Wet ingredients- alternating between the two but beginning and ending with the Dry mixture. Add the cake to the greased pans, and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out dry Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove cakes from the pans and let them cool completely! I like to eat this cake as-is, but if you want some extra ~flair~ you can top it with homemade whipped cream and a dusting of fresh-grated nutmeg!
