One Exceptional fact: Exception hates humans so much bc they are the reason his AU died and the reason so meny other AUs had suffered. So he if he sees any human from a AU other then core frisk, he can't stand to even look at them.
there was a small trend a couple of months ago of yuta dying in the car accident and attaching himself as a curse to rika, but most of the content played up the line in her character bio about her being manipulative, so instead of considering that dying a traumatic death and being forced into being a curse for a number of years may have ramifications for rika's canon personality, the majority of the au's positioned her as unilaterally cruel and evil... :(
anyway more excitingly i'm chewing on this au because of the opportunity for rika/maki where rika has to unpack her deeply embedded heteronormativity (like realising that yuta was "safe" to her in life as a young boy, and has continued thus into her adolescence. In fact, he's the perfect spouse for her: unchanging, loyal and protective) and maki has to contend with someone who is equally as self-assured, but who hides her meanness and drive behind a very deliberate facade of weak niceness
This doesn't have to be the destination, you can keep going.
