{` it's been a peaceful, somewhat boring day, which was why choa decided to spend her evening in the kitchens. baking has always been one of her favorite pastimes for multiple valid reasons; it's fun, a good way to keep busy and clear her mind, the baked goods always smelled wonderful, and most of all, she loves the reactions from others when they eat what she's made. which is why, as she leaves the kitchens and makes her way back to the hufflepuff common room nearby, she's carrying a large plate of sugar cookies, each one carefully decorated with strawberry icing and yellow sprinkles. shifting the plate to one hand, she raps on the barrels concealing the common room entrance, knocking to the correct tune that reveals the entrance. entering with the plate held out as if presenting it proudly, she glances about to the other students who are sitting around -- some reading or doing homework, some playing games -- and she interrupts the peace and quiet with a cheerful call} Cooookies!
