The Beginning of Life

“You know, the ancients believed that all of life began with a single juniberry flower.” - Lotor, s8 ep5, Clear Day

Maybe that’s why the design of Lotor’s inter-reality gate in season 4 somewhat mimics the petals of a juniberry? Because he was trying to rejuvenate a dying universe with the unlimited stuff of life? And he needed one hell of a juniberry, haha.

(Lol, I’m just rewatching some s4 and was like eyyy 3 petals, haha. But please imagine with me, that Lotor really did use a juniberry as his base design, saluting ancient mythologies.)

This kind of shading isn’t usually my thing and I’ve never done a background like this (let alone this lighting good god that took forever) but I had fun with it and I learned a lot in the process.

Also I wasn’t quite sure what you meant by aesthetic (like what kind you wanted) but I hope this fits what you had in mind!
