Not an ask but I’ve been seeing a lot of Beecentric blogs on here basically being carpet combed by the more ultra hateful minority of the FNDM because of reasons they refuse to say why but it’s obvious why they do it. But I just wanted to say as someone who didn’t ship them at first cause it didn’t really grab my attention at first, blogs like yours helped sway that opinion Signed, an Arkos shipper recovering from chapter 9

And good luck with recovering from that! I’ve never even been particularly Invested in Arkos and that was still the most I ever cried over RWBY, I can’t imagine how you would feel.

I have this own little weird theory/hope from the latest episode that whatever kind of grim caused the former residents to die like that are a kind of Grimm similar to the Dementors from Harry Potter, where instead of just leaving someone a husk or negative energy they literally suck everything away until it kills them. I came up with this when I noticed how negative Weiss was getting and how the bodies didn’t show any sign of physical harm like cuts or anything like that

That doesn’t sound too weird tbh. There have been some theories that the Grimm might be based on a Mare demon, who sits on the chests of sleeping people and gives them nightmares (hence the word “nightmare”!). The negativity and exhaustion Weiss and Yang were feeling throughout the episode could very well be the effects of the Grimm’s presence which, like you said, would have alternative ways of killing since the former residents of the farm were all asleep and untouched when they died.
