Student: [disembodied] Sit! Walk! Dance! Uh… stand there? See, it’s listening! [The abomaton has melted almost all the way down]
[The abomination professor, one of the witches from Hollow Mind that was first branded, sighs in disappointment]
Abomination Professor: Failure. My goodness. These abominations prove to me that we need to return to the basics! One more failure, and I will be assigning an extra module to review Abomination 101. With discussion questions and an extra quiz. To be completed on your own time
[Classwide groan]
AP: Ah-ah! Prove that you know the basics, and we won’t have to review them! Next up is…Mr. Blight. Hm. Should I get a fire bucket?
[Darius flinches]
Darius: I could go next, Professor.
AP: You’re volunteering to go first, Mr. Deamonne? Are you feeling alright? No, all the B last names first. Then C names. Then yours. Be patient.
[Alador and Phillip shuffle up to the front of the classroom]
Alador: This is, uh. The abomaton 1.8. Remarkable because of its ability to follow orders from anyone holding the control remote!
[An unidentified voice calls from somewhere in the classroom]: Is it remarkable for its ability to explode, too?
[Alador flushes, but holds out the remote]
A: If I command it, it’ll be the same as any other abomination. Professor, would you do the honors?
AP: [holding the remote] Abomination, bow.
[The abomaton bows]
[AP’s commands play over abomaphillip following them]
AP: Sit. Jump. Salute.
[Cut to suspicious Darius]
AP: [disembodied] Well, well, Mr. Blight. Looks like you’ve succeeded in making an indestructible abomination at last. Quite impressive
D: [under his breath] Yeah. Too impressive.
