Close starter for @juniperscauldron
Time: Dusk
Location: Crow and Chalice
The winds were picking up and the air had the smell of rain in it. The crows had been particularly chaotic. Her poor garden was strewn with leaves and twigs from all different genuses. Thera put her hands on her back and find as her eyes snagged on a large, strangely straight, juniper branch one of them had dropped off. ‘Oh well,’ Thera thought to herself, ‘a gift is a gift.’
She trudged back into her store carrying the branch, the garden had been tended and her murder fed. Just as Thera was thinking about heading to the residential side of the premises, her door knocker chimed.
In her doorway stood a blonde girl, covered in dirt and obviously favouring her left leg. When the girl looked up Thera immediately quelled her instinct to jump to action, there was a fear there Thera knew well. This guest was not here for medical attention, at least not exclusively. No, this girl had the eyes of a runner. Keeping her composure, Thera infused softness into her voice, “Hello, my name is Thera Wendell, how may I help you this evening?”
