Darcy slid in behind a tree, her heart racing and beating in her chest. He had to be gaining on her, but she hadn’t heard anything in a long while. Nothing but her heart beating hard in her chest and her blood rushing through her ears.
She could chance a look around the tree, but if she did and he was waiting for her, she was as good as caught.
Bringing her hand up to her chest, she could feel the beats of her heart fast against it, and in time with the thudding in her ears.
She licked her lips and chanced it, turning to peer around the tree and seeing nothing when she did. Darcy sighed in relief and turned back, only to see Victor’s dark eyes boring into hers directly in front of her. He was fully nude like he usually was after a transformation, but the only energy she could feel radiating from him was pure unadulterated desire.
Squealing, she half-heartedly started to run, but he grabbed her up in his arms, laughing. “Caught you.”
Darcy grinned and wrapped both arms around his shoulders. “You caught me… now whatever will you do with me?”
His grin was wicked as he pulled her effortlessly off the ground and pressed her back against the tree. She helped by wrapping her bare legs around his waist while his hand snuck under the skirt she was wearing, eyes widening when he reached no other barrier.
“Now where are your panties, sweetheart?” he growled, his white teeth shining in the moonlight as he rucked the fabric up around her hips, leaving her bare in the dappled moonlight as it showed down through the treetops.
He licked his lips and Darcy was so fucking glad they were on private property because she didn’t want anything to interrupt what he had planned.
“Figured I’d help you out…” she whimpered as he rutted against her, his hot skin and hard cock hitting in all the right places.
“Much obliged,” he purred, nuzzling against her throat before pressing her back against the tree with unwavering strength that was nothing short of supernatural. He slid his hands one at a time beneath her ass and stepped away from her, kneeling and bringing his face even with her sex.
He inhaled deeply and nuzzled against her heat, lips searching, and finding her center with practiced dexterity.
As his hot tongue began to lap at her, Darcy shivered the contrast in the cool air and his body temperature making her shake. “Fuck yes, don’t stop.”
In response, his hands tightened where he was holding her against the tree and he circled her clit with tight, tiny circles, working a moan from her lips while her hands tangled in his hair so tightly it probably would have hurt someone who wasn’t part-wolf.
He hummed whenever she moaned, increasing his speed until she had no choice but to howl her pleasure into the darkness. She could practically feel him grinning against her. Toes curling, she found release and panted his name over and over again.
But she knew her Victor, and she also knew he was just getting started.
Darcy wasn’t the kind of girl who picked up dudes in a bar. Especially dudes with black coats and eye patches.
But considering that this guy, who could stare literal daggers with one eye was the less threatening option compared to the dudebro who just wasn’t taking no for an answer, she turned towards him, raising her eyebrows and grinning in a way she hoped wasn’t scary as hell.
“Hope you enjoyed yourself last night,” she said, batting her eyelashes for effect.
He looked surprised, his ice settling in his scotch when the tumbler froze on the way to his mouth.
“Just go with it, please… I’m trying to get rid of cargo pants over there,” she muttered, gesturing ever so slightly with her head.
He nodded almost imperceptibly, and she took that as an open invitation to continue on her flirty quest. She reached out to run her hand over his forearm, which was all kinds of tense. Kind of like a feral cat. She almost shirked back, but it seemed to be working.
Her overly interested paramour seemed to lose interest and move on to some other hapless woman. Luckily this one wasn’t sitting alone and seemed to have him under control.
Darcy sighed in relief and dropped her arm from her barstool neighbor’s. “Sorry about that. I needed to get rid of him.”
He shrugged and downed the rest of his scotch in one go. He set the glass down on the bar and tapped it, making eye contact with the bartender. When the man came over, he brought the bottle with him. “One more for the road, Nick?”
He grunted and tilted his head towards Darcy.
“Oh no, I couldn’t…” Darcy covered her mostly empty wine glass with her hand. “I need to get going soon… wait, your name’s Nick? Seems like you’d have some really cool name. Not that Nick isn’t cool or anything, but...”
“You talk a lot, don’t you?” Nick replied, taking another sip from his newly filled glass.
Not anymore I don’t, Darcy thought. She couldn’t be sure she heard him right.
“What did you say?” she asked, listening as he repeated the very familiar words. The words currently etched into the hollow of her hip.
You talk a lot, don’t you?
“Let me guess. I said your words?” she asked.
He smiled for the first time since she’d swiveled towards him. “You said lots of them. But yeah, mine were included.”

Summary:
Usually, she’s the one making him forget. But he’s kind of glad he can return the favor.
There was a knock on the door and Lucky went crazy. Downright insane.
“Hold your horses, you crazy dog…” Clint muttered, grabbing his collar before he opened the door.
He almost let go of Lucky’s collar when he saw her standing there. Broken umbrella. Drenched from head to toe. But she was here.
Here, and he hadn’t cleaned a damn thing…
“Darce,” he whispered.
“Heya, Clint…” she said with a small smile. “You said to come by sometime… I almost didn’t because of an incident involving the wind, the rain, and this pathetic excuse of an umbrella… I probably should just grab a cab home, but… I needed to see a friendly face?”
“What happened?”
She shrugged. “Can’t really talk about it, it’s classified. SHIELD stuff, you know…”
He did know. He knew all too well what it was like to not have anyone to talk to about what happened at work. But Darcy worked with research. With Dr. Foster. What could have possibly happened--
Clint’s thoughts were interrupted by Darcy stepping into his apartment and wrapping both arms around his neck. She let her head fall to his shoulder and the wet from her clothes started seeping into his. Nevertheless, he wrapped one arm around her waist. “Hey… hey now… come on in, we’ll see what we can do about making that memory disappear, okay?”
“Really?” she asked. “Does it work both ways, Hawkeye?”
“Absolutely…” He took a step back and she went with him, he pushed the door closed and let go of Lucky, sweeping her up into his arms bridal style. “Come on, let me see if I have some nothing for you to wear…”
She snorted out a laugh against his chest and he hoisted her higher, carrying her back to his bed. His unmade bed with the clothes on the floor instead of in the hamper or in the dresser.
With no lamp, so the only light that filtered in was from the outside. It was gray cast with the clouds and the storm, but Darcy didn’t seem to care when Clint started peeling wet layers of her clothing off.
Her skin was chilled, but she warmed up once he got his lips on her. Her throat first, working his way down as she ran her fingers through his hair.
When he found what he was looking for, sucking her heated flesh softly, she gasped his name, gripped his hair harder.
She had no idea how much this helped him too. Being there for her for a change. Instead of the other way around.
Focusing all his attention on her quieted the memories. Making her cry out his name made his heart swell. Made other things swell too.
“Don’t stop…” she whispered when he slowed down.
He grinned up at her. “Wasn’t planning on it, honey... “ They had the whole night ahead of them. And he’d have no trouble making it last that long.

Natasha felt weak. And not just because she was exhausted, either. Also because she was here. She was standing here, her hand poised to ring a doorbell she'd sworn she wasn't going to ring ever again.
Never, ever again.
She glanced down at her finger, extended and shaking. Fingernails broken and bloody. Her entire body was quivering uncontrollably. She was weak. She had no strength left.
Swallowing thickly, she pressed on the doorbell. The sound was dull and muted as it rang through the apartment, and Natasha found herself hoping against hope that she heard footsteps soon.
Please, please, please be home… she prayed. Because any second, her legs were going to give out and she wasn't going to be able to stand.
The footsteps inside were muffled, but they were there. Her heart soared as she listened to them approach the door, heard the pause as their owner looked through the keyhole. The whispered curse as she fumbled with the locks.
The door flew open and Maria was standing there, looking at Natasha with eyes that accessed. Eyes that quickly flew around to every square inch of Natasha that she could see. Eyes that searched out every injury, soothing it with a look alone.
"Nat…" Maria whispered. "Nat, what happened?"
"Mission," she said simply, shaking her head. "Classified material…"
"Can you walk?" Was her next question, murmured from her right as Maria gingerly slipped an arm around her waist.
"I walked here," Natasha said in way of answering.
"That sounds fake, but okay…" Maria kicked the door open wider and escorted Natasha inside.
As soon as the cool air of Maria's apartment washed over her, she felt instantly more at ease. The scent of her was all around. Lavender and honey. Lemon floor cleaner. Mulberry carpet freshener.
Home.
Maria's place smelled like home because Maria was in it. Natasha couldn't replicate the scents no matter how many times she'd tried.
Natasha sighed in relief, turning to rest her head on Maria's shoulder, giving a soft grunt as the other woman gently sat her on the sofa. The cushions almost hurt, they were so soft.
"Are you hungry?" Maria asked.
Natasha shook her head, instead, reaching for Maria's hand. "I'm just sorry."
"Oh Nat…" Maria sat down beside her, squeezing her hand as gently as she could. "Now's not the time."
Natasha shook her head. "It's the time because I said so. And I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted," Maria whispered, pressing her lips to the back of Natasha's hand. "Now, what do you need first? A shower? A bath?"
"Yes," she replied, a smile flickering on her lips for a moment.
"A bath it is," Maria said with a soft chuckle.

Steve and Eid would be neat. You never really see Eid celebration in fiction and you totally have the writing skills to do it justice. 🤗
I’m still ruminating like a cow about this, but maybe....
Bucky isn't sure when -- or why -- Miranda acquired a minion, but she has one. He thinks it has something to do with the Young Avengers Initiative Tony started last year; Miranda's got some kind of mentorship role there that's only partially a cover for her spending as much time at Stark Tower as she does. (The Young Avengers don't fight crime, at least not yet. They're mostly science nerds who show up at the Tower to build things and blow stuff up with Tony and a rotating cast of Stark Industries people and once in a blue moon Bruce. Steve jokes that he can tell when it's a YA day when the building fire alarm goes off three times before lunch.)Miranda calls Kamala "my young apprentice" and Tony made everyone watch a lot of Star Wars to appreciate why he'd started calling Miranda Darth Tung. Kamala's a good kid as far as Bucky can tell, if a little starstruck and awkward running around Stark Tower. Steve and Peggy think she's adorable -- but it's probably for the best that the kid doesn't know she's in the same room as Captain America because the legendary Peggy Carter is enough to make her gawp.
2 things I simply must ask. The first, is how does Zingari stack up to the character of Earl Harbinger from "Monster Hunter Alpha" by Larry Correia? (and if you don't read Larry Correia, you should.) and the second is how long do I have to wait for actual original novel by the zingari-mun? Dude, you have a flare for the fight scenes and really good character development.
Well for thing 1 I don't know, I've never heard of it but I'm going to add it to my list right now, I can always use more stuff to read.
For thing two, Well first off thank you very very much. As for a Novel, I don't know? There's a comic coming out called Crimson Blade, Teaser Issue 1 was made available at a few cons some months back and the full issue one is coming out soontm but I only started co-writing it starting with Issue 2 and it's just a universe I play in, it's entirely the creation of the artist Zip Alegria.
Writing is something I love to do, and one day I'd love to write a novel, because let's be honest I write all the damn time. I just don't have the time as a student now to dedicate my life to it, and I'd love to, but financially and time wise I can't, hopefully one day that will change tho.
