"I'm sick of being your little secret!" Juniper yelled, tears in her eyes.
"Yeah? Well maybe, just maybe, this wasn't meant to happen in the first place!" Lalna shot back, his own eyes welling up. He wasn't wrong. It had been a drunken mistake on his part, but now? Now he was too far in to just leave and so, the secret was just that. A secret. To be hidden from those he cared about so that they couldn't be hurt.

With my mood lately, I could easily be an anime killer.
Juniper fell down the well, seeing a certain witch waiting for her. "Who the hell are you?" She asked. "What are you even doing down here?"
Lying twisted around rapidly at the unfamiliar voice that suddenly spoke up behind them, not out of fear; rather, as a survival instinct. The air around them suddenly felt thicker as opposed to the usual thin chill of the well; the scent of blood and chaos surrounding them. Lying narrowed their eyes. A bloodmage.
"What am I doing down here?” They hissed incredulously, not in the mood to deal with a bloodmage, much less a rude one. “You fall into my home and you have the nerve to ask what I’m doing down here?”
"Hey, is that- uh oh..."
Nano laughed at her new found friend's reaction to their situation. It was just a tradition, eh? No harm there! She seemed sweet!
"Come on then, you! You deserve it after such a great gift!"
"Merry Christmas, other Nano! Sorry for all the trouble I caused confusing you." Juniper handed Nano a box, containing multiple unbound poppets, with a taglock kit to go with each one.
"Woah! It's not even real Christmas yet, this is amazing!"
Nano beamed with delight at the trouble she knew Juniper must have gone through to do up such a gift. She was touched that she'd waste such valuable supplies on her.
"T- Thank you! These are great!"
"Smack!"
Nano yelped, staggering backwards in surprise. A burning sensation crossed her cheek as she swore loudly.
"SHIT! Who the hell are you?! What the hell was that for?!"
