Bonsai Juniper (juniperus squamata “Prostrata”) is a prostrate cultivar of the flaky juniper, or Himalayan juniper is a species native to the Himalayas and China. This is an example of why you should remove and reinstall bonsai training wire from your trees. The wire’s been on too long and the bark has grown around it. I’m not sure if I should remove it and tear the bark or leave it and potentially weaken the tree. What do you think? Like with most bonsais you need to keep it watered in the hot weather and keep it pruned to a pleasing shape. There is also a Malabar Climbing Spinach seedling and a Christmas Bush seedling growing that will have to be taken out and potted on. #bonsai #Juniper #juniperus #juniperussquamata #flakyjuniper #HimalayanJuniper #Himalayas #ornamental #chinese #homegrown #abcmygarden #myplants #australiangardens #austraeliangarden #asian #Afghanistan #MalabarClimbingSpinach (at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cef0oMCPnoI/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
