junismo:
Ah, what a bummer. Just when he hoped he might spend a peaceful day in the city, rest his eyes from the computer screen, something like this happens.
“The whole street?” he repeats, scratching the back of his head as he attempts to wrap his head around the situation. “Sucks. Damn. A guy can’t even go get coffee these days, can he?” A strained laugh slips past his lips, even though this wasn’t really a laughing matter. Then again, he didn’t really take many things seriously.
“Who’d wanna bomb this place, though? I don’t get it.” His expressions turns into a frown, and if he was any dumber he’d probably ignore all police warnings and go investigate by himself. Probably. But, alas, he wasn’t that much of an idiot. “Maybe it’s best if we just– uh, stayed away, don’t you think?”
"the whole street.” sei answered the boy with the exact same phrase, hands running over the strands of his hair in slight frustration. he was supposed to take the shortcut to his workplace, but it seemed as if it’s impossible when policemen are running in chaos as if the whole situation is a replication of the zoo. the japanese male merely shrugged at the stranger’s words, soft chuckles escaping his lips.
“there’s a bank around the corner though. maybe they’re threatening people with a bomb so they could get away with some cash in their pockets, but who knows. i’m not really interested in crimes.” he lifted his helmets up and puts them on, after all, he’s late for work. with a turn of the key, he had started the engine. motorcycles are risky than cars, but he likes the thrill nevertheless. “hey kid, there’s this coffee place near my workplace that is pretty decent, want a ride?”
