So originally this was just gonna be like, a funny silly and then I got way too invested in the idea of a Sherlock Holmes (the classical version not the modern one, i haven't seen that yet) Junkan AU.
I really liked drawing this one, not often I get to draw these two in suits.
Also fun fact, apparently Sherlock only wore that hat like one time in the books and it pissed off Conan Doyle so much that people kept depicting him with it. I knew this while drawing the art specifically because I think Junko, whether she knows it or not, would wear the hat just to piss him off too.

The Hope Prompt list is for anyone interested in specifically making Soft Junkan, like me! The Despair Prompt list is for those who prefer their Junkan to be a bit more on the Toxic Yuri angle!
You can stick to one list, or jump between them based on which prompt interests you! You're also allowed (and encouraged) to handle the prompts differently. So if you'd like to do a Hope Prompt with a Despairingly Toxic angle, or a Despair Prompt with a Fluffy Hopeful angle, go ahead! And if you want to be even more extra for your own amusement, consider combining the prompts!

Day 1 of Junkan Week with the prompt "warm"!! What better way to spend an evening than by the fire with your lover? Just ignore the screaming...or don't. They certainly don't seem to mind it.
Junkan Week: Day 7- Despair @the-100-days-of-junkan
Man, I never know what to do for these weeks. I always just end up overwhelming myself with a bunch of ideas, freezing myself with indecision, and then the whole thing passes. Well, not today! I had one(1) vision for what I wanted, and I took it. Even if it meant only posting for the last day.
I've always wished Mikan has more power in their relationship in canon, even if the reason she didn't is pretty self-evident, so here, take this self-indulgent au in which Junko is, in fact, NOT crushed by her execution, but survives via a trapdoor- only to land on her beloved's operating table and be cut to pieces and distributed amongst her and her friends. Immortalized with anaesthetic and formaldehyde, she is alive and ever Despairing, unable to taste the release of death, and with her beloved forever~
Also ignore how sketchy it is I'm a busy man alright-
Summary: When Ultimate Fashionista Mikan Tsumiki is stabbed, there is only one person who can save her.

Three Days Later.
The first thing Mikan realizes is that she’s breathing. Two plastic tubes go up her nose, forcing air into her lungs; they hurt, but they’re there all the same. They don’t hurt as much as her stomach does, and as soon as she remembers what happened, her eyes flutter open.
Multiple IVs flow into her right arm from a stand next to her, draped with medical bags. One of them looks like water. She can’t tell what the others are. They still look clear, but they can’t all be water, can they? She wants to sit up, but she can’t; when she tries to move, her abdomen aches. More than aches, it feels like if she moves too much, she’ll rip it open again.
Her gaze sweeps across the room. If the IVs and tubes up her nose didn’t tell Mikan she was in a hospital, then the surrounding decorations – or lack thereof – certainly did. It’s a bland creamy white, with the lower half of the wall a light blue, around the same color as the gown she’s sure she’s wearing. Maybe not as bright. Maybe more dead—
Mikan takes in a sharp breath.
The sound causes the person curled up in the chair nearest to the door to shift. She yawns and stretches gloved hands above her head.
“Kyo…ko...chan….” Mikan manages to get out.
Kyoko pushes herself out of the chair and walks over to Mikan. Her gaze flicks across her. “How are you feeling, Tsumiki-san?”
It takes a second. Mikan licks her lips; they feel so dry. “I….” She hesitates, unsure. “I-I-I don’t…I don’t kn-kn-know, I….” She swallows, hard. “I’m so…so thirsty.”
“Let me get your doctor.” Kyoko’s gaze flicks to the tubes and IV, and she nods to herself. “She’ll know whether it’s safe for you to drink something.”

Three Minutes Later.
“She’s awake.”
Junko grins. “Knew being besties with you would pay off, Kyokyo.” She hums. “Be there in five.”

Five Ten Minutes Later.
“Five minutes?” Kyoko asks, leaning against the wall just outside Tsumiki’s room, her arms crossed. Her fingers tap against her arm, as she gives Junko a blunt look.
Junko sighs. “Look, I had rounds and other people to check on, and they get real pissed if I don’t do the other shit I need to do, Kyokyo. Took longer than I thought it would.”
Kyoko meets her eyes. “Liar.”
“Sure, fine, whatever.” Junko rolls her eyes.
Kyoko’s right, of course. She did lie. Junko knows down to the second just how much time everything in her rounds takes, just who will interfere to make a simple task take twice as long, and when they’ll show up to do so, letting her avoid them entirely, if she so chooses. She hadn’t misspoken when she said five minutes, she hadn’t underestimated.
She’d lied.
“Has anyone else seen her yet?”
Kyoko shakes her head. “No. You’re the doctor here.” She tilts her head towards the door. “Go on in.”
Junko flashes her a smile. Then she knocks on the door twice – always, to let the patient know that someone is coming in, so they aren’t caught unaware – and pushes the door open.
Tsumiki-san looks significantly better than she had on the operating table three days ago. There’s more color in her cheeks, her eyes are brighter, and her hair falls about her shoulders in a way that makes it clear Tsumiki-san (or Kyoko, maybe) moved it into something approaching fashionable, if anything could be said to use that word in a place like this. She looks up at Junko, and her eyes widen just the slightest bit. “You’re…you’re—”
“Enoshima Junko,” Junko says, bowing the slightest bit. “The Ultimate Surgeon, joining Kyokyo’s class this upcoming year.” She grins. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Tsumiki-san.”
“E-E-Enoshima…sen…sen…sensei.”
“Oh, you don’t have to call me that.” Junko meets Tsumiki’s eyes. “Junko is just fine.”
Tsumiki nods. “Jun…ko…chan.”
“That’s quite right.” Junko steps closer and notes how Tsumiki takes in a sharp breath, how her cheeks flush. “You’ve made it through quite the ordeal. It’s a good thing you had me on your team! Someone else might have fuddled it all up, and then you wouldn’t be here right now! Funny how the world works, huh?”
“F-f-fun…funny?”
Junko takes Tsumiki’s hand gently in hers. “Don’t worry, Tsumiki-san. I’ll take very good care of you.”
“Do you like hot cocoa, Mikan-senpai?”
Her eyes are glancing at her inquisitively. Mikan blushed, heat rising to her cheeks from where she sits by the window looking at the snow.
“I've never had it,” she admits, to which Junko raised her eyebrows.
“Never?” She asks her, before she shakes her head, seemingly coming to the answer herself. “Well, why don't we change that?”

Junkan Week is upon us! I'm doing both the hope and despair prompts for each day, so look forward to 14 Junkan works! Woah boy! For the first hope prompt, we have warm; this work is all about Mikan and Junko sharing hot chocolate together! Very fluffy but does make minor mention of Mikan's past sexual abuse. For the first despair prompt, we have cold! It's a fic about post-Junko's death & FF finding Mikan. So like. Warning for implications of Mikan sewing an unspecified body part of Junko's corpse to herself? Yeesh that's a wild sentence.
Junkan Week 2024 - Day 2 - Fantasy AU
I've got a treat here for ya'll! An idea that's been rattling in my head for awhile now, the Demon Lord AU!
Y'see I read a lot of Yuri Manga when this idea came to me, I was especially obsessed with trying to find yuri about demon lords or other similarly powerful supernatural beings. This of course led my brain to think of a Demon Lord AU for Junkan. Originally it was gonna be something as simple as the Demon Lord Junko and Hero Mikan (Who I might have made into just a normal gal instead of the hero) falling in love. But thought it'd be cuter and funnier if I added a random pen pal aspect to it.
I also bring you some silly comic doodles I did to coincide with this, mostly as like, poor exposition.
Pretty easy explanation! Mikan, poor and unfortunate as she is in every timeline (when am i gonna do a role swap au just so she can catch a break) is forced into being the hero to slay the Demon Lord. Unfortunately for humanity as a whole, the Demon Lord just so happens to be her pen pal, best friend, and mutual crush, Junko Enoshima. Who just kinda left out the detail that she was a nigh unstoppable demon lord.
One of my more comedic au's obviously. I don't have any big plans for it at the moment, but I may draw more for it in the future, just for the sake of cute visuals!
Now here is some proper Valentines Day art. I decided to make the Sweet and Bitter Prompts Match. I have no fucking idea which of these Tumblr will auto post so it's gonna be really funny if it's the bitter prompt.
For the Sweet Prompt I took a lot of inspiration from "Queen of the Convenience Store" which I've talked about in the past during the 100 Days Project. With the chocolates surronding Mikan also having orange flavors. I was vaguely aware of a treat called Chocolate Oranges, which I think are a specific brand thing, but fuck it they're just a generic treat now.
