Gicheol and Junmo should’ve shotgunned at least once.
They look straight out of an idol group tbh
So, who's gonna take one for the team and go full gicheul x junmo on ao3 ?
Gicheol & Junmo | Jump by Kris Kross
But like what scene, like did junmo ever love eujieong coz you wouldn't hurt someone you love like that, right? He could see how much it was affecting her, how she was breaking too, he could see himself falling to deep into it yet he continued to do so, what for?? Money? Promotion? And man he lost so much along the way but I'd say he asked for it, it's heart shattering and all that but it is what it is
How to Execute a Sad Ending | The Worst of Evil
The Worst of Evil hurts. The mission hurts. The loss of some of those characters hurts. The failing of Junmo and Euijeong’s marriage hurts.
As somebody who has consistently been an advocate for happy endings in stories, it comes as a surprise that I completely admire and respect the ending of this story. And it's all because of it's execution.
A lot of the pitfalls other stories have with sad endings, including the swapping of genres, the lack of purpose in the sad ending, or the absence of catharsis, The Worst of Evil dodges with tact and finesse.
I had too much to say about the ending and how excellent it is to confine it to once single post, so if you'd like to read my thoughts on why this sad, sad, ending is one of my favorites, here's the link to an article I wrote diving into the subject more.
Not @ us deserving a better ending
