I would like to know R and Z for juno please
I opened tumblr to answer this, closed it for some reason, forgot, and today it came back to me that I hadn't replied to you like an omen of 'you left your stove on'.
A–Z of Character Mannerisms/Behaviours (accepting)
R. Relax: What mannerisms does your character have when they’re relaxed? If Juno's relaxed it means the Crossbow is off their back for once so expect a lot of neck and shoulder rolling. If you're uncomfortable with joint pops you should beware because their upper back cracks like bubble wrap that's being stepped on. Half of it is fatigue, half of it is pure, concentrated Anxiety and Stress.
A Juno that's idly stretching is a relaxed and happy Juno.
There's also a lot of eye-wandering, which they always do, their eyes are always taking everything in. However, they'll linger on things more, they'll get more lost in detail, which means soon enough their fingers will start itching to crack whatever sort of puzzle they found now and that usually ends up with something being summoned on accident because their eureka was to some puzzle laid there in the times of Arlathan, where people were bored out of their minds because of immortality.
They'll manage to do that in the middle of a scouting, quest or even in the deep roads anyway, tho. Juno truly honours June in measure of resourcefulness and curiosity. They're the most cautious adventurer you'll ever find and still manages to make something tick off that was laid to rest aeons before their time.
And they're Warden Commander, isn't it DELIGHTFUL
Z. Zest: How much does your character use movement to express their feelings? Do they jump up and down with excitement, or do they keep it to a slight smile? Having in mind that 1) Juno's rather stoic in general; 2) Juno doesn't have an estranged nor difficult relationship with their body of physicality, that has never been an issue for them, if you asked them about how expressive they were they'd be incapable of telling you.
Even though both those things ring true, Juno spends the majority of the Origins events fully unaware of the effect they have in other people. They do not realise how noble, commandeering and respectable they come across, they do not understand why people listen to them or depend on them like they do, as if this wasn't the most convincing bastard in all of Ferelden, and often times, unless people are trying to get a reaction out of them, they're not very aware of what their face communicates.
But! Like I said Juno is on the side of stoic so their gestures tend to be smaller, but equally genuine. Perhaps the mos obvious expressions they have are: 1) Shocked/scared Hamster meme; 2) Gritted Teeth Of Now You've Done it and or "do you really want to test me about this"; 3) I Expected Nothing From you And Still you Disappoint me; 4) ALISTAIR (elated); 5) Zevran is here??? (gay, elated); 6) Laughter that always starts like a small bubble and ends up in an eruption of fizzling bubbles in water; 7) Exhaustion of 'my compassion will be the end of me' (proceeds to ask you if you need any help)
More subtle but equally delightful is the tone change between "Warden" (friendly) and "Warden" (contempt, Do Not Make Me Pull Rank On You, first notice/strike 1).
